Bush to Abbas: I'll push for Palestinian state     Yitzhak Benhorin
31. To: 22 the New Yorker, 24, 28 Canaidians
Calm down with the hatred....... good GOD.... No wonder you people will ever have peace. Hatred every where....... New Yorker, I understand your statement, however, it sounded to me like you were generalizing a race of people not from this earth. # 24 my Canadian friend..... I've been to Israel and the occupied territories several times in my years; I've experienced both cultures and found that neither of them is so different. I’ve had several conversations with Jews and Palestinians; the majority of them want peace. Ryan, my other Canadian friend..... Learn to write better....... To all of you, I never once condone what they are doing, however, generalizing ARABS, as a whole is not only stupid, but incompetent. All races have bad seeds among them, not just Arabs but Jews, Christians and the like. By the way New Yorker........ I was born and raised in Southern California and have one of the best educations in the world....

32. #19, Adina Kutnicki: You are in denial
You wrote: Mr. Bush "no more believes that the setting up of another terror state is a viable idea, nor is it in the US best interests. He is merely playing for time." As one Republican activist to another Republican activist, you are in denial. I learned soon into Bush's first term of office --- like his father who is also sleeping with the Saudi Royal family (devil) ---- he is no friend to Israel. Period. I do not believe Mr. Bush has as much as a clue, what is in the US best interests. He is making a mess out of the Middle East. He's not prosecuted the war in Iraq effectively nor boldly --- the leftist FDR was a better war-time president --- his notion of spreading democracy amongst Muslim savages is bankrupt and his drive to ethnically cleanse the Holy Land of Jews, as he had codified in our national party platform in 2004, is evil and reprehensible, as is the president's view of the Jews, his father's and his grandfather's view. Remember Prescott (grampa) Bush did business with the Nazis. Wake up man, before it is too late. Don't be a blind partisan Republican apologist.

34. Israel Back to pre-1967 Borders Or Perish
Really Israel may hold on to its ill gotten gains for a while longer. But nothing lasts forever. When the US economically collapses, just like the former USSR collapsed, then the zionists will be on their own. And if the war in Lebanon is any indication of the things to come, they will give up all they have gained and more. For 60 years the zionists have used war, racism, and treachery in dealing with their immediate neighbors in the Middle East. Payback is coming in spades and no country or people will deserve it more!

35. Two states: Israel and Israel
B"H If the Arabs inside Israel were so excited about these proposals, they would clamor for a second state where they could live in prosperity and peace alongside Israel. I see more Jews protesting for a second state than Arabs, because the Arabs have to actually deal with the situation which is not all that pleasant of living in that second state. The Jews on the other hand unfortunately see that the Temple Mount can not be used for worship so long as a second state prevents it, relieving a huge responsiblity and burden in some eyes. The fact of the matter is that even the Arabs recognize the disaster that Hamas leadership has brought upon their bretheren, and they are staying way out of that territory under Hamas control in Gaza, leaving it for the more hormone-driven violent elements to shoot about while they live relatively prosperously under the Jewish leadership. The Arab MK's may visit Syria and Iran under penalty of losing their visas. But not Hamas Gaza! The second state is already in Gaza, where Jews have been forcefully transferred and expelled out, and it is not a very exciting democracy with its Hamas leadership. Why expand such a disaster until after the first second state can get its act together? If these Arabs were not considered the bottom of the barrel by their bretheren, why are they not allowed to emigrate out to the neighboring Arab states with so much claimed suffering that to a degree is driven by their own leadership and their own behavior? I am sick of American tax dollars going to support the concept of Hamastan which falls far short of the normative standards promised. It is like a carrot and stick approach, where there is a tasty carrot just a little bit beyond reach on the stick, so the promise is great and the reality is very disappointing.

36. ISLAM CONSIDER TEL AVIV and all ISRAEL OCCUPIED
They call the war against the Jews the peace process. It's Land for War. Islamic Taqiyya - deception and signing peace agreements are part of Islamic war strategy, signed until Islamist religious supremacists gain strength to wage all out war against the hated non-Muslim infidels. Surrounded by 22 huge, hostile Arab countries, tiny Israel's battle for survival is a fight for human rights and freedom for all nations. Israel is egregiously betrayed by the U.S. EU UN goal of an Islamic terror state in Israel - a global state dedicated to Jewish annihilation and world conquest. In Islam, Israel and ALL countries that are not Muslim are considered Dar al-Harb - the abode of war to be conquered for Islam. From Wikipedia encyclopedia: Dar al-Islam (Arabic: دار الإسلام literally house of submission) is a term used to refer to those lands under Muslim government(s). In the conservative tradition of Islam the world is divided into two components: dar al-Islam, the house of submission and dar al-Harb, the house of war. Palestinian Authority society are taught murdering Jews is the highest goal in life and attains paradise: http://www.pmw.org.il/AFD.html http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/pictures/PalestinianChildAbuse

37. MODERATES Seek ISRAEL'S DESTRUCTION
In the war waged against tiny Israel and the free world there is no greater prize in global jihad than Israel - for thousands of years the cherished physical and spiritual Holy Land of Jews and spiritual Holy Land of Christians. Islamists attack London, Madrid, Beslan, Israel, India, Bali, New York and not a single Muslim street demonstration from the more than one billion Muslims to protest the barbaric attacks on our cities that murdered thousands. The global war waged against innocent humanity threatens to destroy Western civilization and the laws that protect the innocent. Colonization of our nations by Muslims is massive - host countries generously provide jobs and welfare. Many Muslims are ethical and believe in human rights; however, large numbers of Muslims living in our countries want Sharia law - Islam is intolerant of all other religons and political systems and will not tolerate other religions and political systems in Europe - Israel - or anywhere else. The military religion of Islam intends to conquer the world. An authoritative Muslim stated: "Thanks to your democratic laws we will invade you; thanks to our religious laws we will dominate you." http://www.meforum.org/article/448 New York Post HOPING ISRAEL CAN BE DEFEATED By URIEL HEILMAN September 3, 2006 -- AMMAN, JORDAN ... "We had given up on the military option. We believed this belonged to history," Hani Hourani, director general of the Al-Urdun Al-Jadid ("New Jordan") Research Center, told me the other day in his office. "By taking the initiative, Hezbollah created a new way of thinking about the whole conflict in the region: Israel is not that invincible. It could be beaten. It could be harmed." "Even people like me, the moderate people, who never liked or supported Hezbollah, we began to think twice about how we were wrong," Hourani said. "Hezbollah, even if we don't agree with its ideology, was suggesting a different option to the Arab people." Renewed optimism about confronting Israel by force of arms isn't limited to the anti-Western masses. It's growing among the Arab world's moderates... "This month-long war changed an entire generation," Samir Barhoum, editor of the Jordan Times, an English-language daily, told me. "Hezbollah is a legitimate resistance group fighting occupation." Why are Arabs with business and political ties to the West, and even to Israel, jumping on the Hezbollah bandwagon?... But if Israel can be beaten, then the whole equation changes... Moderation may be giving way to the hope that the clock in the Middle East can be turned back not just to 1967 - before Israel controlled the Golan Heights and West Bank - but to 1948, when Israel did not exist. "The Arabs want the 1967 border for the moment - listen to me: for the moment," said Abdel Mahdi Al- Soudi, a sociology professor at the University of Jordan. "This will change." The Arabs may sign peace treaties, Al-Soudi said, but "nobody will sign on to end the conflict. Nobody will sign something saying Israel will be Israel forever."...

38. HAMAS Goal: CONQUEST of ISRAEL and EUROPE
Words, not actions, was all that America and Europe required of the PLO/Palestinian Authority terrorist organization who broke ALL agreements. For many years, American and European tax dollars financed the war against the Jews. The military wing of Palestinian Authority Abbas's Fatah party, the Al Aqsa Martyrs Brigades, is responsible for massive terrorist atrocities against Jewish innocents. The U.S. EU UN seek the racist, criminal, forcible removal of 100,000 Jews from Biblical Judea and Samaria to duplicate what Muslim terrorists were empowered to achieve via the Gaza surrender - Global Islamic Terror State Two advancing global jihad's march towards Jewish annihilation and world conquest. The Hamas goal is conquest of Israel and Europe: HAMAS Targets Spain By Dr. Rachel Ehrenfeld FrontPageMagazine.com | January 2, 2006 It is not only Palestine that children in the West Bank and Gaza are asked to liberate; now they are asked to liberate Seville. The HAMAS children’s magazine, Al-Fateh, in a recent issue, (No. 66), tells the children about the city called Asbilia (Seville) and calls on them to free it, together with the whole country, from the infidels and to reinstate Muslim rule... Qaradawi, calls on Muslims to conquer Europe, saying: “Islam will return to Europe as a conqueror and a victor... Apparently encouraged by successful Jihad against Israel, HAMAS is now raising the ante, going international. Just as they have indoctrinated a generation of Palestinian children to commit suicide attacks against Israelis, they are now expanding their targets to include the rest of the Caliphate – beginning with Spain. It is only a matter of time, before today’s Palestinian children, and others exposed to HAMAS’ publications start offering themselves up for the next stage of Jihad in Spain. http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=20726

I'm not too sure about your numbers there, I would suggest maybe looking into that. But on another note you should be happy that Israel is there, and funded my the US, the alternative would be no Israel, An Islamic middle east, ready for war if not already with the great american empire. The US thought with foresight when they established the UN with the UK and Russia, funny enough the idea came about in a secret meeting in Tehran of all places. Israel is the front line for the US, there Proxy to stop the spread of Islam from global domination. If there wasn't funding by the US, Israel would of been defeated by the arabs, the establishment of Israel and the financial / military support of Israel shifts the balance of power to the good guys (West). You should read about Albert Pike, he has some interesting thoughts about the establishment of Israel, and the knights of templar never did like Islam.

40. To Ron from LA, No. 31
Let's start with your education. I'm truly happy that you were able to get the best education there is, was and will ever be. But that in itself should not have driven you to tell me to educate myself unless there is something remarkably wrong with the way you got your education. To continue, the fact that you found no difference between palestinian arab culture and that of the Israeli Jews tells me volumes about you. I'm not even sure it makes sense to go on. Goebbels also wanted peace. The question is what kind of peace was it that he wanted, on what terms and at whose expense. I've lived long enough to learn to take words for what they are - merely words. You must agree that the nazies were overwhelmingly German. And the war was against nazi Germany and against the National-Socialist party. The same goes for the arabs. I don't buy this politically correct crap regarding "all races are such and such". That may score in the freshmen Anthropology 101 course but, you know, happily I'm past that stage in my life.

A little curiosity: if you are so full of ingnation and just rage regarding differences between different people and my identifying with some and not the others, why do you keep calling them "jews, arabs or christians" (these came from your latest post). Perhaps there are differences, after all. And who are you? Are you able to tell yourself from the one next to you? Or perhaps you merely a shapeless unidentifyable mass-produced particle?

What you say is very true. There are bad elements in every society, group, whatever you want to call it. People tend to generalize when sensitive issues are raised, as for writing better, i'm not sure what presitigious school you went to nor do I care, but Canadian has only one "i" . You might want to change ever to never in your opening statement, and you might want to change condone to condoned, as it is a past tense your referring to. But thanks for the advice I was try to improve myself, may I suggest the same to you. I just thought with such a sensitive issue, for you to attack someone for generalizing arabs with the phrase "your kind" is worrying about something small and insignificant while there are bigger issues being discussed. Also, Christianity is not a race, it's a religion, my race is caucasian, and I am christian. Once again I doubt your "best education in the world..."

46. God set Israel's boundaries...
several thousand years ago. The Bible is their deed to the land. It's been noted that on several occasions when there has been a land swap or something of the sort, a major calamity has befallen the US or Israel. Do a search of it on yahoo or google. Here's one article I found on WorldNetDaily: http://www.worldnetdaily.com/news/article.asp?ARTICLE_ID=46220 God drew Israel's borders many many years ago and said He would punish those who try to divide it up. Thank you, Pres. Bush for reading your Bible. And thank you giving God another reason to send judgement upon our country.

You may have one of the best educations in the world, but you evidently don't know the meaning of "incompetent." "To all of you, I never once condone what they are doing, however, generalizing ARABS, as a whole is not only stupid, but incompetent." Re-read your statement. You condescend and yet cannot argue with proper or compelling English.

The Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood theorist Sayyid Qutb (1906-1966), whose writings are popular today among Muslims in the West, emphasized this: “Islam cannot accept any mixing with Jahiliyyah [the society of unbelievers]. Either Islam will remain, or Jahiliyyah; no half-half situation is possible. Command belongs to Allah, or otherwise to Jahiliyyah; Allah’s Shari’ah [law] will prevail, or else people’s desires.” Likewise, Syed Abul Ala Maududi (1903-1979), founder of the Pakistani political party Jamaat-e-Islami, declared that non-Muslims have “absolutely no right to seize the reins of power in any part of God’s earth nor to direct the collective affairs of human beings according to their own misconceived doctrines.” If they do, “the believers would be under an obligation to do their utmost to dislodge them from political power and to make them live in subservience to the Islamic way of life.” In 1981, Anwar Sadat was assassinated by Egyptian Muslims, a killing welcomed by most Arabs, including the PLO (Palestine Liberation Organization). Why welcomed? Because Sadat had done the unforgivable – recognized Israel and made peace with it. Ron (Los Angeles) is RIGHT. Thank you ! “Sooner or later, all the peoples of the world will have to discover a way to live together in peace, and thereby transform this pending cosmic elegy into a creative psalm of brotherhood. If this is to be achieved, man must evolve for all human conflict a method which rejects revenge, aggression, and retaliation. The foundation of such a method is LOVE.” Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Have some people not suffered enough ? Were they born just to die ? They have not lived, not been loved, not loved, found despair, never joy, never peace, never something, nothing. My Lord, you remember all your creatures to give them rest and happiness in your eternal love.

firefight, the friggen negotiating is over. The one who can draw a bead down on the terrorist at 600 yards without a scope is going to win the day. Of course you can practice the surgical skills that were learned in med school, if you feel like saving the terrorist's life. You can negotiate with skill as your higher degree allows you. You can convince the terrorist scum bag, that he is going to do many years in an Israeli jail! Please don't represent the idiot at his trial though. You would be doing all of us a favor, if the terrorist spent as many years locked up as possible.
