MK Taha: Instead of probing me – use me    Raanan Ben-Zur
1. who believes that they will act in israel's interest?
they are self-serving and display absolutely NO loyalty to israel in any way, inside or out of the country. i doubt they could stand being accused of being "collaborators" if they actually accomplished something that benefitted israel, which is why they would always give israel the raw end of any deal they intend to broker.

2. These clowns will get away with this
Our govt here is so weak that these Arab infiltrators will never be punished or prosecuted.

3. the treason must end
MK Knaan said “In my opinion, I did not disobey the law because this law is illegal, and beyond that the interior minister, who is supposed to issue permits so to speak, expressed his stance from the beginning when he attacked the defense minister’s statement that talks with Syria need to be renewed. He (the interior minister) already has his opinion, so how could he give permits?” Obviously this privileged, law-breaking Arab Israeli politician is unable to distinguish between opinions and professional requirements. If the Israeli Interior Minister has an opinion, that does not mean he will only consider that opinion when carrying out his job as Interior Minister. Apparently, MK Knaan knows nothing of respecting the democracy in which he is a parliament member, sworn to uphold the values and laws of Israel and defend the nation of Israel, with his life, should it come to that. the hypocrisy of his words, urging Israel to "use" him, when in fact it is Syria and the other Arab enemies of Israel that "use" him against Israel, and his ilk, who are so happy to be used by those Arab dictators. It is high time Israel tries, convicts, and hangs these repeat-offenders, these traitors. If they were to visit these neighboring Arab nations and "read them the riot act" pointing out clearly the abuses that the Arabs commit against themselves as well as against Israel, that would be fine and I don't think you'd see many complaints against these Arab MKs in that case. Yet when they speak lies and twist truths into boldface deceits, the hypocrisy and slander is too thick, and the hangman's rope may well be the proper answer to the traitorous deeds of these anti-Israel Arab MKs. n.b. i am not anti-arab. i served with arab (bedouin) soldiers in the IDF. they love this country, and i am grateful for their existence. i do not wish them to leave israel. we must remain vigilant in upholding justice and equal rights for all our citizens, and bring down harsh judgement against our most privileged MKs who abuse their power with conceit and contempt for us commoners. Shanah Tovah to all :)

4. Law of the land means nothing to them then go move to the PA
Treason is treason. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, then maybe it is one. Traitors all of them.

7. MK Taha: Instead of probing me – use me
Israel is so politically correct that nothing will be done with these Arab MKs. Despite all this, accusations of apartheid state still abound. If MK Taha's heart is in the right place, maybe he has a point??? But I seriously doubt it as * 1 Mike from Israel says.

8. 'this law is illegal' - it's only the law of Israel ..
Chutzpa, and I'm really fed up with Arab MKs that say that our laws are not theirs !
michael ,   tel aviv & london   (09.21.06)
9. The law is a law for everyone.
In the frames of the Law these MKs committed treason. Any sensitive info from them will be politically contaminated. They are useless. And they must to be charged. It’s time for Israeli government to implement the law.
Anna ,   Canada   (09.21.06)
10. Thanks Bobba
I totally agree with you, and you wrote a great talback. If arabs living here love this country, they should condemn these MK's for placing their alliegances with our enemies. They have openly showed support for Hezbollah and Hamass in past comments, and only want Israel to be in arab hands. Having clearly broken the laws, they should be punished accordingly. Is that not equal rights as well?
Jay ,   Israel   (09.21.06)
11. On the other hand...
remember that it used to be illegal to talk to the PLO. Peace activists like Abie Nathan routinely went to jail for this. Today, despite the dire situation, we are at least allowed to talk to the Palestinians and that offers some hope that things will get better. Maybe the time has come to open up the communication channels to our other "enemies". Who better to start that dialog than Israeli Arab parliamentarians who are familiar with both sides? It's really time that we stopped treating 20%+ of the population with disdain and distrust.

12. ENOUGH OF THESE SEDITIOUS QUISLINGS
THEIR A CANCEROUS LESION,FIFTH-COLUMN OF ISLAMIC SEWER RATS SPEWING THEIR CULTURE OF DEATH AND DESTRUCTION UNDER THE PROTECTION OF A DEMOCRACY,ISRAEL..
p HENRY ,   longmont U S A   (09.21.06)
13. Everyone posting here is getting too worked up and not using
their heads. Lets trade all the arab MK's for our soldiers being held in lebanon. Everyone wins. We get out soldiers back and all the MK's get to live in arab countries where they can spew hate and get recognition for their hate.
(09.21.06)
14. We should hang them, then we should USE them as an example.
Okay Ynet this is the third time I'm sending this in. Why does it disturb your liberal sensibilities so much. In Israeli Law treason is punishable by death. Whose side are you on Ynet? The bastards go to Syria (our enemy) and warn them that we might attack. This is treason in its highest form. If you don't post my talk back this time I'll write the editor.
Jeremiah ,   Israel, Jewish Land   (09.21.06)
15. Polite Interrogation? No Wonder They Are Cocky!
Bullcrap. Tibi, Bishara et al are working to subvert Israel. They even have the sudacity to say so to their Arab Islamist audiences. They even feel free to cheer on Hizbullah and Hamas. Therefore, why are the investigators being 'polite' with these subversives? Are cracks upside the head only reserved for religious nationalists?? Any normal country would have them locked up for treason and sedition. These Islamists try and pretend that Israel is not normal because they do not use them for political go to guys. Rubbish and Orwellian.
