2. tit for tat
Israel will reserve its right to continue to carry out the flights,
and Hezbullah will reserve its right to rocket Keriat Shmona.

3. UNIFIL is Full Of It
Let's face it, UNIFIL won't do much of anything, but show their smiling faces. In a fight, they are no match for Hezbollah, whom they are there to protect. On the other hand, the first time Hezbollah fires a rocket into Israel, or tries to fire on the Farms area, or kidnap Israel soldiers, it will be tested. If it stops Hezbollah, then it will be a successful deployment. If it engages in a battle and kills many Hezbollah, it will be successful. If it does nothing, than all bets are off. If Lebanon fires on Israel (missiles) aircraft, it's time to bomb Beirut, the Eastern part that is. Who won the war, Israel did of course, no matter what people think of Olmert. It's time for Israel to have a victory parade..too, with thousands of Golani and Gavati soldiers, and of course flags.

4. SORTIES ABSOLUTELY NO USE
Over the past 6 years IAF flew sorties over Lebanon with what result? Condemnations and useless information.
The sorties apparently did not help IAF learn that Hezbollah was digging into bunkers or where those bunkers were.
The Lebanon debacle showed that the sorties don't do any good, SO WHY STIR THINGS UP BY VIOLATING LEBANESE AIRSPACE??????

5. Please Stop Being Arrogant and Disrespectful to Lebanon
How would the Israeli people feel if Lebanon was flying fighter jets over its sovereign territory and breaking the sound barrier, frightening civilians going about their own business and not bothering anyone?
I am willing to bet that Israel will not tolerate such an action and would either threaten military action or seek deplomacy through the United Nations or some other governments to mediate a solution if it chose the matter to be resolved peacefully...
Well, Lebanon has been lodging complaints with the United Nations against such provocations for decades and Israel has given the middle finger to the entire world and still doesn't respect its neighbors.
Decades of sending fighter jets over Lebanon and collecting intelligence didn't accomplish much for Israel, as the evidence showed during the latest war. Hizballah dug tens of miles of ditches and built bunkers and was armed to the teeth and Israel stil lost the war, as per the admission of its honest leaders.
In conclusion, please stop your provocations so you and your neighbors, and the whole world for that matter, may live in peace. Thank you.

9. A good show by Olmert's government !
Olmert Youre going DOWN ! i loved this line 'hes cycling down the hill'
all this lingering for pulling out the forces is to give the impression to the israeli public as if israel's occupation of south lebanon is of such a magnitude that it needs all this time to pull out... a stupid play for tricking the israeli public... i guess it might pass as this israeli public has proved from day one of war that they are more or less idiots and can be easily fooled and lead to a war that was decided by the US . Not for the prisoners nor for the soldiers who were killed on 12/07/2006.
Two months and a half have passed and the soldiers are still in captivity .. latest news i heard is that they already started fasting in Ramadan .. lol ... Latest news about the swap deal:
1. Hizbullah put a condition that Barghuthi should be released as part of the prisoner exchange.
2. Samir kuntar release is a basic and does not even need negotiation.
3. Israel will give and actually has already given guarantess through Italy and Germany thatt hey will not target Nasrallah or any of his top command. (best proof is the latest parade of 1.5 million in beirut last friday)
if u wanna get them back ... alive i mean .. u better to move fast as ur clock is ticking and soon they will be transported to iran !!!!

15. this fadi
read a few of fadi's comments, found them to be that of someome with dreadful learning disabilities, so didn't bother anymore.
I did peek at his one here, and really didnt expect anything that hints that he is sane.
So fadi lives in LaLa land, best leave him there and ask Ynet to hold up on democracy a bit and just dump his remarks in the bin, they are garbage and worthless.

16. constant violation
For six years Israel violated the air space of a soverign nation- Lebanon. Now with a ceasefire in place Israel will continue to violate Lebanons soverign air space. No wonder Hezbollah refuses to disarm. The Lebanese army should shoot tthem down as a provocation.

I agree that the sorties didn't accomplish much, and cause problems with neighbors. But don't forget that these neighbors have 20000 rockets and have fired them on cities, something no other country, or the UN, would tolerate anywhere else in the world. Also, I don't think that stopping sorties would cause peace to break out in Africa, China/Tibet, etc. Don't blame Israel for its neighbors' misdeeds, and for the lack of peace in the whole world. Israel is the only country in the area that wants peace; Hizbollan/Lebanon doesn't, Palestinians don't (they bomb Israel daily), and Syria doesn't. Israel pulled out of Gaza and what does it get? Get it?
