Ben Temalion ,   Shiloh, MO USA   (09.27.06)
Fraud begat u olmert. The arelim, unbound heart and sick mind did you counsel and become the tyrannt that u r now. Sharon disavowed the part5y charter and referendum. YOu are not democratic and hate Jews. The land of the Jews belongs to all Jews past present and future which you do cannot act as a broker for. The land is whatr Jews were created for, it is your birthright, you reclaimed it in aggresssive wars against the homicidal hamites from their own peninsular homeland (to which they should have their right of return enforced) and the land is condoned as a Jewish homeland since you have given 90% of it away already to this generations designated Jews killers. You made the rest of the nation more vulnerable by supporting the arelim's progroms against those who love the land that protects you. You implemented the pogroms which are the oppositions platform and against the charter of your own party. And since when did kadima even have an election. You democratic fraud and tyrannt and Jew hatetr because Jews love the land and you hate it and them. go with the rest of your rotten apples and get out of the land that Jews love. You are spoiling the hole barrel. with your suicidal revisions of Judaism which is what Zionism is.

35. The diff between
expulsion & serving ,   in territories is:   (09.27.06)
Expulsion was an abrupt affair, executed in an active, "kum v'aseh" manner. The State performed this act. Territories, even for those who don't like the idea, is not something that was decided upon. It simply happened to us. The State is simply continuing it in a "shev v'al taaseh" passive manner by not doing the active act of leaving. No one can feel that the State doesn't represent him merely because it can't figure out what to do about a problem. But tens and hundreds of thousands of people CAN and DO feel that the State doesn't represent them when it takes active and aggressive action against them.
36. what brain wash
jew ,   eretz yisroel   (09.27.06)
the state of israel was established by people with ideals that originated from the zionist movement way before the establishment of the state. part of these ideal is a jewish secular way of life without halachik judaisum, these people were zionist. of course all good jews believe jews should control eretz yisroel that doesnt mean they are zionists. zionism wasnt just about a homeland it was about a new way of life for non-religous jews wether is be in uganda or any where else. a way of life that doesn't envolve the torah law, a way of life that alows "zionist" to kick jews out of their home, which allows to give guns to terrorist and the list goes on.
37. PULLOUT OPPOSED WILL OF NATION
Alex ,   Israel   (09.27.06)
Olmert, how about the majority of the nation that did not feel adequately represented by a government that hastily orchestrated our disasterous pullout from Gaza? Remember that Sharon's own cabinet did not support the plan until opponents were fired; Sharon's majority ruling Likud party voted against the plan in an internal referendum; and polls showed a national referendum also would not have supported the Gaza expulsions.

You convieniantly forget that the majority voted for Kadima , that the Left as well as the Centre wants an end to the occupation . Sharon was supported by the vast majority of Israelis . Nothing has changed . Polls mean nothing . Orange are less than 10% of our population , they want to replace our secular democracy with a religious theocracy ..... THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN !!!

I watched all four of the videos you sent. Interesting. Thanks. It's a complicated situation. It's not all clear cut as you seem to want to make it. Are mistakes made? Yes? One of the young men said he thought the attempted bombing was a mistake. These are men and women of faith. They are settling the land as the Bible enjoins us to do. This government, pressured by the American administration, wants to make peace with people who will annihilate us. Is this right? Look at all the innocent Jews murdered as a result of the Oslo debacle. Arafat did not want peace. He wanted to destroy Israel but we made peace with him. Do you think Hamas is any different? But we see all these suicide bombings and terrrorism from the Muslim Arabs. They murder our women and children. What do we do? Nothing? Just take it? Do you really believe we can make peace with these terrorist savages who indescriminantly murder innocent Jewish women and children? No one wants to see children killed. But they are killing our children. You seem to want to make things so simple. It's not so simple.

41. #38 What occupation?
steve ,   USA   (09.27.06)
You wrote: "the majority voted for Kadima; the Left as well as the Centre wants an end to the occupation." What do you consider "occupation?" The declaration signed on the White House lawn in 1993 by the PLO and the Israeli government provided for Palestinian self-rule in the entire "West Bank" and the Gaza Strip. In subsequent years, Israeli presence was almost nonexistent except in sporadic antiterrorism raids. During this period, Israel suffererd unprecedented terrorism and violence from the Palestinian Arabs. Now Hamas is arming to the teeth. Between 1967 and 1973, despite wars with the aggressor Arab neighbors, there was prosperity and trade in the Arab territories and Israel was relatively free of the kind of violence we witnessed following the Oslo accords.

I am willing to pay a one way ticket for our not so smart friend secular sabra,so maybey he can find his way back to his jewish roots.I have met many israelis in galut who become mitsvot observant after living among the goyem.Instead of bringing jews here,we should encourage that kind of zero"s to leave and get some reality check. So give me your contact info and leave,it will clean up the air here and take as many of your fellow lost souls with you good ridance.

Why do our fellow Jews want to see Israel destroyed? For what? Because they do not like religious Jews? I'm not as observant as I should be and maybe I will not ever be, but I only have the greatest respect for Jews who are living in Judea and Samaria in faith and obedience. Others are angry. Why?
44. Zionism is a scam
FM ,   Seattle, USA   (09.27.06)
You people are not the "chosen " ones, God did not "give" you the land, you have no right whatsoever to the land or any right to kick out the people who already lived there. Your only justification is that might makes right, but that's pathetic. That means if I could come and take it from you then it's mine. I could come up with the same kind of b.s. you folks do and say "God gave your house to me". You've been lying to yourselves for so long that you have come to believe your own lies. You are lost and hopeless.
45. #44: FM
steve   (09.27.06)
FM, even if we accept your premise ----- God did not give us the land, which I do not accept it ----- you are living in Washington state, land siezed from an indigenous people as is most of north America. What is your justification other than might makes right? "Land-hungry settlers began to encroach upon the area in which you live in the 1840s. "In 1853, Washington territorial governor and Indian agent Isaac Stevens terminated Indian land rights, leaving only reserved land that was held in common by extended families. Under coercion, area tribes relinquished nearly all of Puget Sound and the Olympic Peninsula — some 2,240,000 acres — to the government according to terms of Treaty of Medicine Creek of 1854. "While American settlers were being issued 160 acres of land per person, Stevens' treaty gave Indians roughly four acres per individual. He also assigned the Nisqually to a small parcel of scrubland at a considerable remove from their life-giving river. "The Puget Sound Indian War, in which Nisqually warriors participated, erupted in 1855. The Indians fought courageously, but they ran short of supplies and were heavily outnumbered. They gave up the fight in 1856. "Survival became a bitter struggle for South Sound Indians. Restricted to their reservations, they were deprived of outside resources to fend for themselves. This became especially true for the Nisqually in 1917, when the U.S. military confiscated 3,370 acres of their reservation to create the Fort Lewis Military Reserve "In the early 1900s and up to the 1940s, the U.S. government forbade the tribes from controlling their children's formal education. Youngsters were packed off to boarding schools, where Indian languages were proscribed in a domineering spirit of assimilating them into the dominant society." MIGHT MAKE RIGHT, right?
46. Steve, I don't support that aggression either.
FM ,   Seattle, USA   (09.27.06)
I won't make any excuses for that--unlike most Israelis. But it seems that you're admitting that it is simply strong-arm theft that Israel did to the people who already lived there. Thanks. you re-inforced my point. And yes, it's true that if you carry the arguement out all the way that would mean most of us in America would have to go back to Europe. That is the logical conclusion. Are you really pushing for everyone to go back to where they originally came from? Then why are bothering to say what you're saying? Like I said, at least I'm not trying to make any excuses for it. What the Americans did to the indiginous population here was terrible. I'll be the first to say it. But do you really support the idea of might making right? That's a thug mentality. If so, I'll be over next week to take your house from you. Where do you live?

Israel didn't take nothing from no one. Israel was stablished by a LEGAL international agreement in 1948,when other countries were formed along with Israel ,and Israel remained with the smaller portion. Jordan grabbed lands from Israel, inclusivelly. In 1948,as soon as Israel was established,it was attacked, because arabs didn't want Jews there, just because arabs want only their owns in the area. Jews have lived in that area for more than 3000 years. What is your answer to what I am saying,hum..?

You sound like a fare and good man Steve. I'm glad you watched the videos . Pay attention to Kach Steve , learn about them . They are banned in Israel and classed as a terror group by the FBI . These people are murderers and criminals ..... they murder in the name of God . Yes you are right .... it is not so simple .... but there are Palestinians who want to live together with us to. Not all our religious are murdering savages like the Kahanists are..... not all Palestinians and Arabs are like Hamas and Hizbullah.

We occupy land that is not ours . The Palestinians have a right to this land . The question is how much . The West Bank is a hell hole Steve . Normal Israelis do not live there ... it is populated by our religious fanatics. Once upon a time we defended them and protected them .... not any more.... not since they murdered our greatest war hero and Prime Minister . The settlers are an abomination .

51. #4 Steve: Why do Zionists Change Coats?
Knave Dave   (09.28.06)
"When a Zionist turns and supports the relinquishing of our land to our enemies, he leaves the Zionist fold. We have seen this time and time again. From David ben Gurion to Ariel Sharon to Ehud Olmert." Maybe that should tell you something. People like Ariel Sharon were champions of settlements in the territories in order to claim the territories. Everyone knew it was a land-grab, though everyone who was doing it denied it. Then those people rise to a position in the world where they feel they have to go back on the very thing they championed. Why do you suppose Ariel Sharon did that? He, and others like him, did it because they realized when they had the reigns themselves that taking the territories by military strength was never going to work. They realized the world, including the U.S., would never accept that. So, they became pragmatists. If military force could make the territories part of the state of Israel, Sharon, of all people, would have known it, would have been capable of doing it, and would have had the bullheadedness to do it, regardless of public opinion. He changed and made painful concessions because he recognized the path he had championed was never going to work. You cannot seize the Promise of God by being the mightiest or the smartest. So, you accept and defend only what the world has given, or you give your whole faith to God and let him deliver the rest his way.

Lands conquered with suffering and blood, specially when these conquers were never driven by an deliberate intention ,but because of atack defense, are not "grabbed"lands.

Dr Paul Brown ,   Melbourne Australia   (09.29.06)
Our Prime Minister is strongly signaling his statesmanlike desire to transcend political populism and work jointly towards a reformulation of Zionism. PM Olmert has the ability, and is in a unique position, to heal secular-religious rifts, and to work towards the reformulation of Israel’s raison d’etre: a reformulation of Zionism that places out loyalty to Hashem, and our shared commitment to His Covenant, first and foremost on the national agenda. The first step could be the establishment of a national council for secular-religious, Jewish reconciliation.
54. secular-religious dialogue
Dann ,   USA   (09.30.06)
The religious camp has a lot of explaining to do. When will the real messiah come to settle this problem? Or is our religion flawed? We need clear answers. Lets make a New Zionism that is compatible with the concience of the world so that we can keep this land.
55. # 51 Knave
Knave Dave ,   U.S.A.   (10.01.06)
Lands taken by blood with no surrender of the "enemy" and no treaty are not lands taken at all. They are merely lands occupied. Until Israel goes to war agains the U.N., which administers all treaties over the land being the child of the League of Nations that won the land by treaty from the Ottoman Turks ... until Israel goes to war against the U.N. and forces it to give Israel a treaty, Israel has not WON anything. it merely stands on top of the pile as the strongest dog. It is king of the hill and king of nothing at the same time. To win lands by blood, you have win treaties from your enemies. That means chasing Arabs back into all surrounding Arab countries and fighting until all those countries agree to absorb the Arabs that have fled there and to recognize Israel by treaty. (Or beating the U.N. into granting a treaty.) No treaty = no land won. No terms of surrender by ANYONE.
