You are the chosen people of God. Jews will be saved and I believe that. We may have different beliefs, but you are our brothers and sisters. Jehovah Yaweh made a Covenant for the prosperity of your land, and he won't break it. To Jews who shun us away, why would we be trying to convert you? Romans 26-27 says: "And so all Israel shall be saved: as it is written, There shall come out of Sion the Deliverer, and shall turn away ungodliness from Jacob: For this [is] my covenant unto them, when I shall take away their sins." Tribe of Juda ocupies the land of Israel and the tribe of Israel is yet to come. To me we christians are that tribe of Israel. We will come together and know who we are. I've been reading the talkbacks here and I wanted to make a comment concerning Matt.27:25. It is my feeling that the jews, when they made that reply didn't take what they said seriously since they didn't think He was the messiah anyway so it was no big deal. From my bible I got some cross-references. Deut.19:10, Josh. 2:19, 2Sam.1:16, 1King 2:32 and Acts 5:28. The verse of 2Sam.1:16 sounds like it is referring to Jesus. Jason, Be under no illusion that we worship the same god for the god of Islam is most definitely not the God of the Jews or Christians. The Torah and the New Testament are one great panoramic story of God coming to earth to save some from their sins through blood the only remedy for sin. It started with Genesis and finishes with Revelation. Nothing is to be added or subtracted from it else the wrath of God is upon these persons. The Koran is in no way compatible with these writings nor does it culminate in the same salvation but pampers to the desires of base men not for the glory of God but the fufillment of these worldly and natural things. It takes from the Messiah the things that are His and gives them to a mere man who was neither divine nor Jewish.

His truth is not meant to manifest in this world through his followers waging war to help Israel create the Promised Land. These are very twisted people who think that way. Defending a nation within its rightful borders is one thing; building nations is another.

Which only goes to prove Christian Fundamentalists are not evangelical at all. "Evangelical" means good news. Jesus was intended as good news to Jews, even before Gentiles. Any evangelical who doesn't want Jews to convert (be spiritually reborn) knows nothing about Jesus. It was Jesus who told the Pharisee, Nicodemus, that he had to be "born again" in order to enter the Kingdom of God because having been born a Jew was not enough to get him there. It was Jesus who said his own "mother, brothers and sisters" were not his, but that his followers were his "mother, brothers and sisters." He meant that even those who were closest to him by Jewish blood were not his family unless they were his followers. It sounds like a lot of Fundamentalist Christians don't spend much much time thinking about what their Bible says. If they did, they would know that Jesus refused to bring the Promised Land into existence by conquering Rome with the sword. That was the devil's way. The only sword he would pick up was the "sword of truth," his word. That's why in Revelation, he slays his enemies with a sword that comes from his mouth. It's the sword of truth that comes from his mouth, not a literal sword. Wake up, people. You're marching down the path to holy war just as surely as Islamic Fundamentalists.

Whereas it is a good thing for Israel to receive support, I think the Christain support for Israel can be even better done by seeking to harmonise their view of Jesus who was a Jew to be in rela line with the Torah. Christians can do better than what they are doing now by understanding that the Bible is Jewish, and the Jewish perspective needs to be respected. To Jews who are skeptical about Christian support, it would a good idea to study the basis of support and be a bit more update about why Christians are behaving the way they are. The fact is, JIHAD is not only against Jews, and will be against all those that support Jews and I am Christians will not be spared, although the brunt of the trouble is on Judah, Ephraim and Manasseh.

I know you meant well, but Replacement Theology is not only a grave error, but a sin as well. You do not have to be a Jew to be saved! G-d wishes to give His mercy and forgiveness to ALL. Remember, Christians are "grafted in" to the cultivated olive tree (the Jews); Jews are not "grafted in" to the wild olive tree (gentiles).
