I think what you miss is that Arabs are second-class citizens in the Israeli state who have always been subjected to racism. What do you expect from a society who calls its Arab citizens demographic demons and threats, and even goes so far as public officials calling for their transfer. What do you expect when an Israeli newspaper can actually call for the castration of male Arabs as a way to force them to leave without hardly anyone blinking an eye? What do you expect when an x-ray machine breaks down and only Jews are permitted to fly on an airliner internally in Israel?
