Is it a political identity (Israel is politically different from every other country in that region, how are Palestinians different from Egyptians, Lebanese, Jordanians, Syrians, etc.) Is it a religious claim on that land (please don’t humor me). Do Palestinians feel they were kicked out of Israel once Jews arrived (the UN resolution calling for the creation of Israel ALSO called for a two-state creation, it was the arab rejection of this resolution that led to a downward spiral for the palis).
