Arab League: Palestinian fighting is 'madness'    Reuters
1. Funny guy
The arab states have used the pals as a tool to destroy israel for 40 years. It must hurt them when the pals are ripping each other apart.
Y ,   N   (10.03.06)
2. fatah
it seems a big chunk of the fatah movement including the aqsa farts brigades is officially working for the Israeli government...no need to send the idf soldiers into gaza now...someone else will do the dirty work and on the cheap!
Indego   (10.03.06)
3. PALS KILLING PALS IS NOT MADNESS! IT'S NORMAL!
stude ham ,   outremont, canada   (10.03.06)
4. Odd comment about Israel
No one does destruction, killing and aggression better than the Palis. This is thei motto which they make no secret of.
(10.03.06)
5. ARAB MADDNESS
What can you expect from a people who preach hate to there children. They had a chance for peace with Oslo but they blew it. This civil war is not only with pallis but look at Iraq. Don't forget the war bet. Iran and Iraq. What about the civil war in Lebanon in the 70's? Those who live by the sword will die by the sword. There will never be true peace in the world untill MOSHIACH comes. In the meantime we need real leaders for Israel. Leader that know how to win wars and run our country with justice.
Yochanan ,   Jerusalem, ISRAEL   (10.03.06)
6. "Unprecedented madness" as opposed to the usual madness.
Let them get their shit together, recognize Israel's right to exist and negotiate two states. Like Israel has tried to do since Day 1.
Andy   (10.03.06)
7. Arab League logic!
To the Palestinians, specialists of destruction and killings, a piece of advice is given: leave that to Israel! In spite of having a true example of destructive Palestinian behaviour in front of their noses, the Arab League with all its wisdom refuses to see the truth.
Isaac Haskiya ,   Roskilde - Denmark   (10.03.06)
8. Brave men
and I'd say again - victory to both of them , brave hamas and fatah fighters! There will be quite a gathering of martyrs and 72 might not be enough this time. No need for peace and all this stupid stuff - fight to the end, be brave, don't listen to corrupted Arab leaders - you have higher power on your side - I mean both of you. Fight w/o any worries - there will be no condemnation from int'l community, it is Ok , you are allowed to go crazy with your guns and bombs. But if you are of some crazy reason wnat a cease-fire- just say the word, and UN wil send you 15K French peacekeepers. So, c'mon, don't stop, keep on going

Umm... buddy, why are you trying to be so racist making Arabs seem like they are nothing but violent and evil people. Let's see us Americans and Europeans aren't quite perfect either... let's see... WWI and WWII were the bloodiest conflicts this world has EVER seen. And if I'm correct that was a European conflict. Europeans and Americans made colonizing Arab countries and subjecting them to oppressive regimes part of their policy. There were wars long before the 20th century within Europe as well, the American Civil War. And more recently American action in Vietnam and Iraq. So, for you to say that Arabs or Muslims have a greater proclivity towards violence, just makes you plain racist.

10. What is a homeland?
I was born in Uzbekistan, lived in Siberia, Moscow, Vienna, Rome, New York City, Los Angeles, New Jersey, and am now back in Moscow on business… I have remained in a constant state of departure while always arriving… so I don’t know… what is a homeland? Is it the ancestors buried underneath the soil (well then its Jewish land long before it was Arab land). Is it political boundaries (Israel was declared a state by the UN post WWII). Is it cultural identity (Jews have lived there long before Islam even became a religion or culture). Is it economic prosperity (Israelis created that economy, let them enjoy the fruits of their labor). Is it a need for land (is there not enough muslim land in the world?). Is it a political identity (Israel is politically different from every other country in that region, how are Palestinians different from Egyptians, Lebanese, Jordanians, Syrians, etc.) Is it a religious claim on that land (please don’t humor me). Do Palestinians feel they were kicked out of Israel once Jews arrived (the UN resolution calling for the creation of Israel ALSO called for a two-state creation, it was the arab rejection of this resolution that led to a downward spiral for the palis). Do you feel the land was stolen (you fought for it, you lost, they won… where else in history has the winning party given up what it fought for solely because the other side cries foul?)

11. LMFAO ARABS ARE HILARIOUS!
This whole article, including the quoted people, made me crack up with laughter. Arabs are simply too funny...in a sad way of course.

12. Pal Infighting is Gladness
I wish the best of luck to Fatah, and I wish the best of luck to Hamas. May Fatah succeed in killing all those Pals who have attempted to thwart its ambitions. May Hamas succeed in killing all those Pals who have attempted to thwart it ambitions.

14. This is their cause: madness, death, incitement against all
Until they decide to struggle for peace and prosperity instead, this is all they will ever get.

15. Just doing what they learned in school
A new generation of "Resistance Fighters". lol This is what they learned in school as children, Death and Destruction.
Isa Zimmerman   (10.03.06)
16. Who has the Bigger Gun?
It seems pretty obvious that they are fighting over a really cool weapon that was smuggled in. What could it be. Who will use it first? What does this mean for Israel?

18. #2 Maybe that's why US gave Abas those guns?
(10.03.06)
19. To post # 9
It's not racist to point out the fact that the arab/muslim world is violent.
???   (10.03.06)
20. To #18
Since when you call AK47 the guns from US?
Leo ,   Canada   (10.03.06)
21. To #19
But it is racist to single them out for being violent, when MANY other countries and cultures are violent as well. Saying things like "What can you expect from a people who preach hate to there children." is very racist. It is negatively generalizing about a group of human beings who are in fact wonderful people. That my friend is racism. Would you not call someone who says Israel is the most violent country in the world an anti-Semite? Well, there's no difference. It is not only Arab Muslims who are violent in this world, and that's what I was trying to point out.
(10.03.06)
22. Let Israel Do It?
Subaih says in effect that it is better to let Israel kill you? My goodness, you mean revenge for dead Palestinans is better upon Israel than anyone else? Sounds to me that Palestinians mean nothinng to the Arab League. They apparently expect you to die, but not at the hands of each other. In fact, you can expect better respect and treatment from Israel than the Arab League.
Dale ,   Spokane USA   (10.03.06)
23. enough is enough
the main cause of the palestinian infighting is the deteriorating economic conditions created by the seige imposed on them first and formost by the Arab states,so it is no longer possible for the arabs to fool the palestinians and convince them that the only one responsible for their ordeal is Israel
sami ,   west bank   (10.03.06)
24. #10 your story sounded intersting

26. "...unprecedented madness?"
"This infighting is unprecedented Palestinian madness," Subaih added. Oh really? Seems to me that its completely consistent with what the Palestinians usually get from their elected leaders: graft, strife, mismanagement, and lack of cooperation.

27. for Sami number 23
sami you are right the real fault of all the moslem infightings are on the shoulder of the jooos. the killing of armenians by turks, sunis by shiites, the shiites by sunis, ismailites by shiits, moslem brothers by assad, killing shafeiis, malekis, hanbalis... all the infighting masacares including khaybar, bani ghuraiza and ....every fault is on the shoulders of jooooooooooooooooooooooooooos.

28. #21 It's not racist to state a fac t
These Moslems/Arabs teach hate to their children and what we see here is the result of it..
(10.04.06)
29. #21 Can't you see what's going on here?
The Hamas and Fatah are just too busy fighting over control and one-upmanship to concentrate on cooperation! It seems that they are less interested in representing their people and more nterested in their self-serving agendas. If they would just TRY not to let their egotism and greed get the better of them, then they might be able to represent their PEOPLE'S best interests. It is not racism but legitimate criticism to observe that their political system is in shambles and they need to sit down like adults, make some sacrifices and compromises, agree on who is going to run what, where, when and how and stop acting like a bunch of punks and gangsters!
