The last thing that Israel needs is public legitimation of the homosexual lifestyle. Israel is a small country that needs men to fight and to procreate. Legitimating male homosexuality would destroy Israel's backbone.

Why on earth would Israel want to host something like this. They have gay pride marches in California every year and it's bad. Men marching down the street with almost no clothes on and other men advocating about man-boy love. The Grand Marshal of this parade was the head of a group that advocates man-boy love. UGH!!!! I'm glad I don't live in California. The very thought of something like this in Israel sickens me. I think God is watching out for you Israel in not letting you get this. This is something you don't need or want when you see just what happens at these things.

This would be an honor? It would be appalling. Israel remember your history. "Rightousness exalts a nation, but sin is a reproach to ANY people. Also, Blessed is the nation whose god is the Lord. Don't bring this sin and guilt on your country.

It is a shame that so many Jews and Israelis are homophobic. It is good that Israel is such an enlightened country that gay Jews can proudly march in a gay pride parade in Jerusalem.
9. Gay Pride Parade
NYC Girl   (10.08.06)
Any time this parade is mentioned all the gay-bashers and bible-thumpers come crawling out of the woodwork. Israelis who happen to be homosexuals are contributing members of society. They work, pay taxes and serve in the military and, thankfully, Israel is a tolerant country, unlike the repressive, irredentist Muslim regimes surrounding it. And for those of you who act as if homosexuality is somehow contagious, trust me...it isn't.

You proved your point, your comments is un fit to be hear. Maybe you just want these people to bring this rediculous parade to Israel. Why do they get special rights over the rest of us.

13. Israel Needs Babies
jane ,   vermont   (10.08.06)
"Israelis who happen to be homosexuals are contributing members of society." Except for one thing: they don't make babies. Meanwhile, the Arabs have 10 kids per family. Aside from that, what an example it sets to young Israeli boys. I have seen how in the US the homosexual agenda has simply destroyed the notion of responsible masculinity, and it's a shame. The idea that a male homosexual is equal to a heterosexual who marries and protects a wife and family, is insane. God help Israel if that ever destroys the norm. Girl from Ranaana, wash out your mouth with kosher soap.

Homosexuals "work, pay taxes and serve in the military.." and so do the mentally and physically challenged from birth, congenitally blind, and midgets etc etc. All these, like homosexuals, are wonderful people, kind, generous, productive, loving and loveable. All were born with a significant difference to the majority of other people which impinges markedly on their lifestyle. All should be respected, treated equally, and encouraged to reach their fully potential, but that doesn't mean their lifestyles should be promoted as normal, desirable, or mainstream.

by same sex parent or authority figure in growth years. Yassar Arafat is a prime example. Through misperception, thus distortion of truth, homosexuals assume "homosexuality" heals the old wounds. In actuality, homosexuality is the symptom of open wounds. History consistently shows publicly blatant homosexuality is a final stage in national decline and subsequent destruction; because it indicates deep emotional and psychological wounds have been sown over many generations, and with such great build up that unresolved wounds (and the familial-individual issues which caused them) are so common as to become acceptable to the masses. Therefore, blatant public homosexuality supported by peoples and governments is really support for generations of unresolved abuse. The abuse indicates the health of the society. The same debilitating principles support divorce, family break-ups, violence, crime, corruption, physical and moral crimes. A society of walking wounds is not resilient enough to withstand the consistent application of external pressures. Here is why scripture shows the principles of love, truth, forgiveness, repentance, wisdom, mercy and humility, coupled with the confrontation and eradication of evil is the healing balm for health. Health begins at the familial and individual level. Here is why scripture shows that without the God of Israel such is impossible due to the inherently selfish and fallible nature of all mankind. The scapegoat principle of scripture [Torah, Tanakh and New Testament] reveals that mankind is not meant to carry sin and it must be cast out, because it thoroughly destroys any people and spreads. http://www.christianbook.com/Christian/Books/product/279255541?item_no=944783&event=CFN

If you mean to suggest that homosexual men should face State compulsion to have babies, then you should consult the eariler policies of Cheauchescu from Romania. They have an orphan problem unfortunately. I understand that you wish to portray homosexuals as lesser beings. To what end? What would you have the gays do? Procreate? Die? And "the homosexual agenda has simply destroyed the notion of responsible masculinity." I would laugh if I didn't already fear your zealotry. Poor whites from the South and the American Heartland have degenerated their family lives because they seek homosexuality? Unwed mothers of black and Latino families are victims of homosexuals? How far back does the "homosexual agenda" go for you? 1700s?

Maybe one day a practicing Christian will make his case using a statistical regression. Until then, bugger off ;-)

Homosexuality is a sin and not because I or anyone else says it is. The Bible says so and I imagine the Torah and possibly the Korah also say the same thing. To the Lord homosexuality is an abomination. This just doesn't mean that he dislikes it but indicates an emotion much stronger than simple dislike. It is abomination to him and when scripure says this, then it's a smart thing to stay away from. History has shown that anytime a society accepts this practice as something that's okay to do then it's the last stage of that society's decline. I DO NOT hate the homosexual but I DO hate their homosexual lifestyle. I'm not going to march in the street, get violent or anything else like that but I will speak out and say that it is a sin.

Certainly you can express your opinion. I just hope that no one who takes to violence acts on it. Anyway, why must you intervene in the affairs of people whom you don't know? Do you have communist or fascist leanings?

In reality, the sexual orientation of parents doesn't really make any difference. In fact, from my admittedly limited experience, just the opposite was true. My ex-boyfriend, whose parents were both straight, has a brother who is gay. The brother is a very kind, intelligent man who has been with the same partner for more than 15 years. The ex-boyfriend, on the other hand, hated his mother and was a testosterone-saturated womanizer...just like his father. You really can't generalize about people who are wounded by their parents...gay or straight.

No, I don't have communist or fascist leanings. I'm a 59 hetosexual woman from Indiana with two grown daughters. I have congestive heart failure and CAD so my time on this Earth is probably limited. Homosexuality is wrong and a sin so I will speak out against it.

Brenda, I would not waste my time on idiots like Mike who specialize in baiting people with preposterous questions like this: " If you mean to suggest that homosexual men should face State compulsion to have babies, then you should consult the eariler policies of Cheauchescu from Romania. They have an orphan problem unfortunately. " Obivously, I never suggested anything of the sort, and "Cheachescu" from Romania (as far as I know, never compelled gay men to have children. (The orphan problem is largely Roma, who have a high birthrate.) Nor do I think there's anything wrong with homosexuals having some rights. Israel has been pretty sensible on this subject in my opinion. But the idea of having thousands of foreign homosexual men coming to Israel to parade their life-style in front of Israeli boys, which is really what the purpose of this silly parade is, is not only disgusting, but a threat to the existence of the Israeli state. Israel is not like the US or any other Western country. It's existence is fragile. It cannot afford to make the same mistakes the rest of the west has in legitimating deviant lifestyles whose hallmark is below-replacement level birthrates. As far as buggering off, that's Mike's specialty.

First, no need to call me an idiot. Second, in response to the comment "Israelis who happen to be homosexuals are contributing members of society" you wrote "Except for one thing: they don't make babies." What does your comment imply? Did you just write it idly? It titles your post on here. Because in #24 you write that the West legitimates "deviant lifestyles whose hallmark is below-replacement level birthrates." Thus my comment re: Cheauchescu : he instituted mandatory birthing. Now Romania has an orphan problem. I assume you want loving parents to care for children. So what do you really want from homosexuals, Jane? I don't bait you. I just want to know what you want from this minority. Why not state openly what you want the fate of homosexual to be?

So you're not a fascist nor a communist, yet you feel the urge to interfere with others' personal lives. Fascinating. Like I said earlier, I just hope that violent people don't take what you say and act on it zealously. As far as your health conditions and your family, I frankly don't give a shit. And for that, consider yourself blessed ;-)
27. My apologies, Brenda

Obviously the US has got some issues to deal with at home starting educating ignorant psychotic nutters. As an israeli i'd rather not accept your "support" in israel if you have a problem accepting other human beings (that is ... without including our precious neighbours). I guess israel's much more open rather than ppl. think it is. I come from a religious home myself (jewish), being a good person is to deal with difficulties your faith brings into your face. I chose to know that all ppl are equal & only god has the right to judge. So all of you dumb ass homophobic freaks ... don't act as if you were a god. shame on you!
