It is truly astounding that people in the U.S., Britain and the rest of the sane world aren't treated to summaries of speeches like this. One of the problems with garnering support for Israel is that people refuse to believe the insane ravings that pass for daily Arab discourse. Lebanon completely forgets that Hezbullah started the war with approval of Lebanese leaders. And how could L. be a "cultural competitor"? As for finance, c'mon, does anyone believe that the sheikhs are deciding between Israel and Lebanon? Again, different pots of money. That is one reason capitalist democracies tend not to launch wars, and why wars between two capitalist democracies are so rare.

Lebanon will never be beautiful unless it rejects terror and lives in peace. Lebanon has no future if it accepts the terrorist organizations like Hezbollah. Lebanon will be taken back again and again into the stone age unless the Lebanese leadership disallows violence on its borders. Your excuses for the criminal serial Hezbollah murderers are only hurting Lebanon.

Niether Israel not the USA can conduct a successful warfare when there is preoccupation and obsession about hurting the civilians while the Arabs do not give a damn if they kill anyone who is innocent. Perhaps we must learn to treat them the way they treat us.

What threatens Israel is their soldiers being attacked and kidnapped over the border. Not only that, the thousands of rockets coming from Lebanon. Right now Hezbollah is rearming and regrouping in southern Lebanon and you allow it. You can expect more destruction as long as you blame the wrong people.
