how you pro-israelis cannot admit your crimes. we as Americans do- we know we have made many mistakes- awful ones- just admit it-apologize- its a start!

It is not a crime to defend your country from terror. Why can't people like you understand this simple fact??? Hezballah is a terror group, they attcked Israel and then went hiding in populated places. I'm sure if Israel could come up with really smart bombs that only hurt terrorists, they would have, but reality is that war sucks and people die. Maybe you should tell that to your terrorist friends in Beirut.

Yah Israel dropped leaflets and told the civilians to get out and then destroyed the convoys from the air as people were trying to flee. Israel didn't even have the right to displace civilians. Would that we could drop leaflets on you and tell you you have to abandon your homes and your lives because WE say so. You are nothing but racist war-mongers and nothing you say will save your souls, though I doubt that you have one. If you do get down of your knees and pray for forgiveness, if you have the guts! Mr. Ignatieff has spent more years learning about and engaging in human rights issues than anyone as ignorant as you could possible understand. Get ready! The veneer of civility and victimhood that you have hidden behind for so long is GONE.

How preposterous to equate the tiny little slip of madness called Israel with the free world! No one in Israel is free, no one that does business with Israel is free, the Palestinians aren't free, your political prisoners held and totrtured without charge including children aren't free, the amount of time and money the real Free World is forced to focus on your wretched little state isn't free. You think you are the chosen people. LOL. Yes, chosen to make a mockery of freedom and to be the bane of the entire Free world.

There is a difference. In Canada when the noun when capatalized refers to a member of the Liberal Party. In the United States when it is employed with lower case lettering it is pejorative. It usually indicates an individual who is well read, informed and willing to invoke their freedom of speech. These people are much maligned by the malignant forces of Christendom, the gun lobby , the corporate media and rabid nationalists. It is a moniker applied as a sort of code word to dismiss whatever the other person has said. Kinda like the Vatican's Book of Lists, if you get my drift. These people are to mistrusted, hated and despised. So if in the future someone suggests that bombing entire neighbourhoods in the Lebanese capital would result in the obviously foreseeable deaths of innocent civilians...just dismiss them as liberal. Or , if you are Linda Rivera you can blame those deaths on Jihadists. After all, the entire world knows...Jews don't kill people ! Please wake up.

Michael's father George was one of his son's..Count Paul Ignatieff was a top Minister & Senior Advisor to Tsar Nicholas of Russia..Count Paul Ignatieff left Russia during the Bolshevik Revolution Oct. 1917, by the seat of his pants..He was the only Minister of the Tsar's to escape death..Another of Count Paul's jobs was organizing the "Peresecution of all Jewish Settlers," & cleaning them off the land, one way or another.. My husband's family were some of those very people.. Four son's walked out of Romania, caught a boat to America's Ellis Island, before coming to live in Montreal, Canada..To have this type of job Count Paul Ignatieff had to be anti Semitic and hold these views.. MY QUESTION: How can his son & grandson not be affected by these Jewish-hating thoughts, from this family???
