6. Just wondering
how the Israelis would be behavng under similar circumstances as those imposed on the Palestinians in Gaza over the decades. Israel has done everything to make life incredibly difficult in Gaza, next to impossible, but so far the Palestinians have managed to survive. Mind you, I do think that it's pushing Palestinians to seek strength in Allah and to become more fundamentalist in their beliefs. The Israeli occupation of Palestine and the American occupation of Iraq are helping create more extremists all around the world and that is most unfortunate for us all.

7. NO. 6 ARJA
STOP WONDERING. JUST LOOK AT THE FACTS ON THE GROUND. GAZA WAS EVACUATED WHICH I HOPE YOU CONSIDER IT TO BE A POSITIVE MOVE ON PART OF ISRAEL.
NEXT COME THE QASSAM AND OTHER ATROCITIES, FORCING THE IDF TO AGAIN ENTER GAZA.
HOW CONVENIENT IT IS FOR YOU LOT NOT TO EVEN MENTION THESE THINGS.

8. # 7 - Joe
Israel might have stopped occupying Gaza but they never stopped controlling the lives of Palestinians in Gaza. The collective punishments continue. The power plant has been bombed and innocent people suffer from lack of electricity. There is a humanitarian crisis in Gaza according to Human Rights Watch, because electricity is essential to power medical services, sewage treatment and the water system. Gaza is like an open air prison.
In the last four months of Operation Summer Rains, 290 people have died, 135 of which were children. 750 people have sustained injuries leaving them permanently disabled.
