...because it feels like yair listened one of my conversations with a friend of mine. i'm 23 and i'm exactly in the same point as S. is. Planning on traveling a lot, seeing this world, experiencing as many things as possible and trying to find what i like to do in life...this article gave me shivers, made me think, but i still want to go, to travel. i didn't find my path here, in Romania, so why not look for it anywhere else? Kol Hakavod Yair, love your articles!

Enjoyed the article, beautiful! It left me stunned, parts of it felt like reading my own lifestory. As a 21 year old fun loving traveling and adventure seeking gal I decided to spend the winter in the sinai desert, working in a holiday resort. There I meet my first French Canadian guy, after a 2 1/2 years relationship living in Israel he is headed back to Canada. He asks me to join him in cold snowy Quebec. After a 2 week pit stop in my native Switzerland I fly across the ocean to Montreal. It's been almost 29 years since and I could write a novel.

12. Renoir and lilies
Gaston Boucher , |

Yair, you're the standard Israeli with a halfbaked education !
Renoir loved bathing plump women. the guy who loved lilies is Claude Monet.
Start reading some art history, it won't hurt.

so all your conclusion is that "standard israeli" has no culture? so what are you apart from an oxomoron with no feelings?a french or whatever anti-israeli? antijewish?start feeling and being human,it won't hurt!!!! I bet renoir or monet would have seen the beauty of the feelings, not looked for what to criticize!! PS,any misspellings or grammar incorrections?

Children like S. are the product of standardized leftist education in Israel which takes away Judaism, Jewish nationalism, true Zionism - but also other emotions and diversity.
