1. Dismiss the 3 stooges
not the field commanders that they handcuffed
|
|
2. dismissal would have been highly unfair!!!!
no matter how the higher ranks of the idf look at it, the "failure" of these soldiers who sacrificed their lives while the government stood by doing nothing and giving out conflicting messages based on usa instruction during the war, can't point the finger at any army commander except at themselves.
it was the generals' failures and the government failures in executing this war, not the soldiers on the ground. when leadership is poor and undecisive, so is moral and concrete mission goals.
there were no mission goals all the way to the top of the government. do not blame the soldiers who do the work for you and stop pointing fingers and excusing failures in the government.
halutz, olmert, et al were 100% incompetent and this showed on the ground. it should be them being investigated, not the soldiers who got whatever order from them through their commanders on the field of battle.
also, do not ever air your incompetence on ynet so that you give your enemies a chance to know how you feel, what and where things went wrong. this should be kept inside israel and not for public consumption.
if you had your act together, didn't listen to usa and world opinion, didn't use the white glove treatment, didn't resort to being politically correct when your survival was in question, you woudn't have been in this situation today.
israel acted as a pupprt to america in this war. what is happening to you guys? don't you realize that the only ones on our side is us? and it'll always be this way.

3. Shouldnt he be dismissed from his posiiton for IDF failures
Hizbullah taught israel a lesson that israel will never forget. Israel will think a 1000 time before israel thinks again of another attack on lebanon.

6. Of course they won't be, it would make too much sense...
to dismiss the failed Halutz and the division commanders. Instead we find ways to promote them and give them a pay increase. Brilliant.

11. Israel's survival depends on the IDF -- and government
1. PERETZ should be fired.
2. OLMERT should be fired.
3. Halutz should be fired.
4. The guys who were responsible for the IDF going into battle without equipment and with expired medicine should be removed.
5. The people involved in setting the non-strategy should be removed.
End of story.

12. mmmmmm Col. Hirsch is very handsome!
|
|
13. Dismissal would turn Israel against the real perpeTRAITORS
All of Israel would see right through the rouge... Halutz..Olmert and Peretz just looking for a scapegoat for their own failure.
So it's best they keep their mouths shut if they want to cling to power.

|
14. sent to the hague ????
i doubt these 3 could find it!
