Yigal Amir is a 1st degree murderer - by his own admission and with full legal evidence - including ballistics. I sympathize with the mom. It's her son and the idea of his guilt must be a tremdous heartbreak. But Amir is not the victim. Rabin was. His family is. His nation is. Pardon him? 90% thinking he is innocent? This is a fantasy at best - a nightmare at worst. People who take lives deserve no real life of their own. Rabin was a human being first, a hero second a controversial politician last.
