It is the woman tha blew herself up that causes so much hatred, not the report of the explosion. And how can you compare terrorism to "incidents" taking place in Canada? Yes, I am very proud to be a Muslim and proud to defend my religion. No, I am not a terrorist in sheep's clothing. No, I did not come to a free country because I couldnt stand living in my own. My personal English translation from an article in the Arabic Egyptian news paper, Alahram, Sat. Oct. 4,2006 reads: Dr Ibrahim Abdel Raheem, Professor of Islamic Shariaa, Cairo University said: It has been proved from readings that the necessary interests, for human life and its alignment to the good path, stem from five sources; keeping (safeguarding) religion, life, sanity, offspring, and money. So, it is strictly forbidden to assault any of these necessary interests, even by the person himself. He said, “The reasons derived by some as a motive for suicide are very weak ones, especially with what we know about the goodness and importance of enduring difficulties in Islam. A lot of scholars approved that captive person is not allowed to commit suicide for fear of compulsion to divulge Muslims’ secrets to the enemy at time of war. He stressed that Islamic shariaa forbids suicide and killing; this forbidding is evident in Koraan and Hadith (tradition) as God said “Do not kill life, made sacred by God, unless for justice”. God also said “one who had bad a deed and surrounded by his sin; those are hell eternally”. Prophet said “he who hanged himself down is down in hell forever eternally” and also said “he who killed himself by an iron object, it is in his hand thrusting it into his belly in hill fire, forever eternally” the exterior of these two hadiths (sayings) and other similar hadiths indicate the infidelity of the suicide-person in the opinion of many scholars, because the eternity in hell and banning from paradise are the punishment to the infidel. Even if the suicide person is considered extremely bad Muslim, scholars unanimously agreed that his body washed, wrapped, receives funeral prayer, and buried in Muslims’ cemetery. Comment; Islamic scholars’ opinion are guidelines to be considered by suni muslims who are the overwhelming majority of muslims. Extremists’ Islam is a politicized one which is a twist of the true religion.
