1. Depleted Uranium
jeremy ,   Northern Israel   (11.08.06)
This is just typical of Israel bashers tell the lies enough times and maybe it will become the "truth." However, even if we did use depleted uranium shells during the war, so what. Hizballah tageted civilians with cluster munitions and no one says anything about that.

4. U.S. NATO WAR on Serb CHRISTIANS. We Bombed the Wrong Side
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (11.08.06)
NATO War Crimes and links to Al Qaeda confirmed former UN Commander in the Balkans We bombed the wrong side? by Lewis MacKenzie National Post, 6 April 2004 www.globalresearch.ca Five years ago our television screens were dominated by pictures of Kosovo-Albanian refugees escaping across Kosovo's borders to the sanctuaries of Macedonia and Albania. Shrill reports indicated that Slobodan Milosevic's security forces were conducting a campaign of genocide and that at least 100,000 Kosovo-Albanians had been exterminated and buried in mass graves throughout the Serbian province. NATO sprung into action and, in spite of the fact no member nation of the alliance was threatened, commenced bombing not only Kosovo, but the infrastructure and population of Serbia itself... Those of us who warned that the West was being sucked in on the side of an extremist, militant, Kosovo-Albanian independence movement were dismissed as appeasers. The fact that the lead organization spearheading the fight for independence, the Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA), was universally designated a terrorist organization and known to be receiving support from Osama bin Laden's al-Qaeda was conveniently ignored. ...Those Serbs forced to leave joined the 200,000 who had been cleansed from the province since NATO's "humanitarian" bombing in 1999... Since the NATO/UN intervention in 1999, Kosovo has become the crime capital of Europe. The sex slave trade is flourishing. The province has become an invaluable transit point for drugs... The objective of the Albanians is to purge all non-Albanians...from Kosovo The campaign started with their attacks on Serbian security forces in the early 1990s... There was no genocide as claimed by the West -- the 100,000 allegedly buried in mass graves turned out to be around 2,000, of all ethnic origins, including those killed in combat during the war itself. The Kosovo-Albanians have played us like a Stradivarius. We have subsidized and indirectly supported their violent campaign for an ethnically pure and independent Kosovo... When they achieve independence with the help of our tax dollars combined with those of bin Laden and al-Qaeda, just consider the message of encouragement this sends to other terrorist-supported independence movements around the world. http://globalresearch.ca/articles/MAC404A.html Maj-Gen. Lewis MacKenzie, now retired, commanded UN troops during the Bosnian civil war of 1992.
5. UN Has NO Credibility!
Alexh ,   Washington, DC, USA   (11.08.06)
Two other independent teams, an Italian and a British, ran their own tests and confirmed extensive existence of Uranium in their samples. Somebody is lying and its neither the British nor the Italian.
6. can we get a SORRY from the UN please!!!

7. 5 -Independent teams?
NL ,   Israel   (11.08.06)
Does this include the British team from the initial report? If so, note a few things: 1. It was written by Robert Fisk, who has had several widely discredited articles, including the article about the numbers from the Jenin 'massacre' a few years ago. Despite the fact that independent groups debunked the myth of massive deaths, he has yet to revoke his statements 2. Even Fisk's article, with a flagrantly anti-Israeli bent, noted that if Uranium were used in munitions, the Uranium may have also come from antitank missiles (which, btw, Hizbullah and not the IDF were using) IMPORTANT: Merely because a team isn't affiliated with an international organization, doesn't mean that they lack an agenda. The 'Independent' newspaper, to name only one, is certainly not 'independent' of an agenda. Given the UN's quickness to condemn Israel in the past and to err on the side of assuming that Israel was more to blame (see Muhammad Adura,Gaza beach attack,Jenin, etc. where the UN first yelled at Israel and then conceded that their verbal attacks had been unsubstantiated), whenever the UN says something in favor of Israel, I tend to assume that it is accurate, because, on the whole, they lend support grudgingly. Just something to think about.
8. Double standards
Paolo Ortenzi ,   Rome, Italy   (11.08.06)
Let me understand: when UN bash Israel and charge the jewish state of using forbidden weapons (or of massacres...) UN are credible. When UN finds out that accusations against Israel are a FAKE, suddenly UN is no more reliable. One way reliability? Double standards? Or let it call with the right name: HATE. About Brits and (unfortunately...) Italians "independent teams": don't make me laugh.
9. I have no clue!
