New Yorker, you fell for that old story hook, line and sinker. My favorite part is that you really believe that they don't target civillians.

and don't speak of "higher standard". Life is precious everywhere and killing life is a murder everywhere. When tanks fire at children it's not an accident, New Yorker, it's a barbarous act of war, a war crime.

Raping Palestinia: I have an uncle that's all that matters. Oooh oooh Olmert hollers, I have an uncle that's all that matters.

I cannot imagine being the Israeli parent of a young person who is required to serve in the Israeli military. What does it do to these young people to brutally slaughter innocent civilians? What does it do to them to see the blood of children running down the streets? Their military training apparently dehumanizesthem to the point they are unaffected. What a scary society.

Sorry for what? For killing 20 innocent people? You should be sorry when you're late for a meeting or when you step on someone else's foot. You can't be "sorry" for killing 20 people, you're a murderer that needs to be brought up to justice. I wonder how many soldier/commanders are going to be promoted for "successfully" completing their mission: "Get out of town, let the people think it's over and relax and then...surprise surprise...10 shell when they sleep". That way they'll never forget who their master is.

And what makes you the expert on what really happened? We've already seen the kind of 'truthful' reporting that came out of Qana. I'm wondering what kind of response you would expect from your government if an enemy wished you and your family dead and continued to lob missiles and send people into your neighborhood with bombs strapped to their bodies at every opportunity. I wonder how you'd feel if you saw them celebrate their success at killing your children, friends, siblings while praising those responsible for killing them. It's very easy to speak of Israeli restraint while sipping lattes from the comfort and safety of your home. But those who wish to see Israel destroyed wish the same fate for you. And when they finally attack (they are tenacious) how should the rest of the world judge your response?

Jews were persecuted for hundreds of years... And even now in Their Land, they can't have peace... How would you like it, Michelle, if Russia would claim Finland as it's own? And Russia did own it....

Israels enemy lives with it's nieghbor and it complains when Israel gets angry and blows things up. Civilians get killed and it's Israel's fault? Who lets the enemy live umoung them knowing what is going to happen. Best get out of the way because Israel's enemy has taken over your country or stay and die.
