Olmert in US: Barghouti's release not on agenda     Ronny Sofer, Washington
1. Yeah cause he will be freed with hizbullah exchange deal :)
fadi ,   lebanon   (11.12.06)
2. Pollard
Come on Olmert. If you can get Jonathan Pollard released your trip will have been worthwhile. Otherwise you are only wasting tax payers money.
Choni Davidowitz   (11.12.06)
3. Iranian Republican Guard will open his cell door:)
Arabian Wolf   (11.12.06)
4. Is Olmert A Good Liar ?
We already know that the Puppet Minister will do whatever the emperor tells him to do. We also know that it will be done secretly weeks after he has left Washinton so that the false peacemaker will not be held responsible for helping and supporting Islamic terrorists while claiming to fight them.
Marcel ,   Florida   (11.12.06)
5. dont return without Pollard u putz
Yisraeli   (11.12.06)
6. davidovitz ## 2
My God what audacity. Demanding a traitors release. Only the Jews can get away with it
Dr.Joji Cherian ,   Aluva India   (11.12.06)
7. What bad timing
Can there be any worse timing to visit the White House? We just had the incident at Beit Hanoun, the White House is reshuffling itself and has no idea in which direction it will go in the coming weeks, the Palestinian "government" has not yet been solidified, and the impression left by Lieberman's entry into the government all spell one thing: pressure on Israel for concessions to the enemy. The worst leader Israel has ever seen has also set himself up by stating in advance that he is willing to release a "surprising" amount of killers from their cells. We can unfortunately expect the following results: No solid plan or coordination on Iran. No release of Pollard. No concrete backing on operations in Gaza. More concessions, more Jewish citizens under missiles, and of course if our liar says clearly that Barghouti won't be released it means clearly that Barghouti WILL be released. Oh, and I wonder if he'll even mention Ehud Goldwasser or Eldad Regev. Probably not. He won't want to spoil his dinner with Condi.
LEE ,   NY, USA   (11.12.06)
8. International Law & Israeli Law Would Be Violated If....
Releasing the mass murderer Barghouti would be tantamount to declaring war on the Jewish citizens. If the regime would ever agree to this it would be legitimate to take the law into one's own hands. A regime that fails to protect its citizens at its most minimum standards, regardless of any pressures brought forward, ceases to be legitimate. End of story.
Adina Kutnicki ,   US   (11.12.06)
9. Accessories
I'm glad Isaac Herzog and Bibi are going along for the ride. Their spoken English is impeccable. And oh that Isaac, he's such a doll - good luck boys and don't forget your dinner suits. Make us look good!
Talula ,   Israel   (11.12.06)
10. 5
Should Pollard be released just because he's a Jew and spied for Israel? All spies, Christians, Jews, Muslims know it's wrong and have to be accountable for their actions. Give it up already
Israeli ,   Israel   (11.12.06)
11. Free Pollard
eli ,   tel aviv   (11.12.06)
12. Barghouti WILL be released
Everything and ANYTHING Olmert says...read the opposite. Everyone else does, especially Tehran & Nasrallah. In fact just look back at every blubbering blithering statement he's made in the past. I'm sure many folks can recount at least a dozen.
malcolm   (11.12.06)
13. Olmert thinks...
that America's stance toward Israel will not change. Hmmm.. listen carefully, all across America... there is the sound of checkbooks silently closing.
Richard ,   Open Range, USA   (11.12.06)
