1. Borat

Must be some film! Anyone who can make us aware of others prejudice as well as our own, deserves an award. Not sure which award but Cohen is a smart businessman. Making a fortune with just 'plain' folks on the street.( no actors, no costumes, no unions, no paid opinions.) His began a dialogue that makes us stop, talk, and perhaps learn something about this subject.
2. Borat?... ummm... no comment.

3. intellegent humour to dumb the world.

I think the Khazakstan people need to examine themselves before they complain about Borat. He is giving them a pretty clear mirror image which, from what I have seen and heard is not far from the truth. He is hilerious, and thank god....jewish!!! love him!

7. I can understand the Kazakh's anger
Antonio ,   Haifa   (11.15.06)
but I'm sick and tired of dumbasses who take it as if he was making fun of Kazakhstan.
8. To #7
Munish ,   Los Angeles   (11.15.06)
Having seen the movie, I have to say that it is all but impossible to connect the character Borat to the actual country we know as Kazakhstan. Borat might as well have come from Mars; the whole thing is so incredibly unreal. Definitely the most over-the-top movie I've ever seen, and incredibly funny. Funniest thing is that of all the hostile types he encounters throughout his travels, the only ones who truly frighten Borat are the kind, elderly Jewish couple who run a bed & breakfast. He fears they are shape-shifters and claims to see their horns. He flees for his life! Hilarious!!

12. Borat movie very offensive in some parts
Barbara ,   USA   (11.16.06)
Borat pokes holes into every single prejudice known to man, but I have to say that this movie offended me in some parts of it. Don't get me wrong; there were other parts where I was laughing hard, but be forewarned - the language and some scenes (male nude wrestling) are not for the faint of heart or those who are easily offended (like me).
13. Borat
ROD ,   Fargo N.Dakota Usa   (11.16.06)
Borat would be a better Prime minster then the fool Olmert
14. Borat's anti-semitism not a joke
Brad S. ,   NYC, USA   (11.16.06)
I really enjoyed this movie, and I think Baron-Cohen is a gifted comedian. However, there is a serious problem with the anti-semitism in this movie. Yes, Borat's anti-semitism is so over the top, that many people will see that it is not meant in earnest. However, the problem lies in the fact that the anti-semitism is just a little too real, a little too much like what is really out there. You only have to do a google search for Jew or open up an Arabic newspaper to see Jews being portrayed as sub-human, devils, or blood-suckers. And this is very real. Borat's description of Jews as inhuman creatures, portraying them as money-hungry cockroaches, or trying to determine the best gun to kill Jews are not really funny at all, and there is no doubt that many anti-Semites around the world will definitely nod their heads in agreement at what is not supposed to be taken seriously.
15. Will Sacha, Borat, bring his shiska fiance?

16. Funny guy
Jay ,   Israel   (11.16.06)
If muslims could laugh at themselves like us jews can, then there would be no terrorism. Some of the worlds greatest comedians are jewish but i am yet to see a muslim one. It seems to me that most muslims have no sense of humour at all. Perhaps Cohens next character could be a incompetent, bumbling prime minister like Olmert.

I agree with you that it might be a better world if muslims were able to laugh at themselves a little. But there are a few muslim comedians out there that ive seen and they are ridiculously funny and i think they were both persian. One guy's name was Ahmed Ahmed if you wanted to look him up. Peace.
18. Borat cool guy
efi g ,   washington dc   (11.16.06)
Borat should make clips with the religious right wing nutters about thier gay hatred. He should really take them on in an agressive manner.
19. #15 Maybe he can explain racism to you though
