This is a good direction to invest in. Potential application are huge. I would like to see it used increasingly for desalination
2. Secure who's future???
Faith ,   Israel   (11.16.06)
You mean secure the future of the people who work in that particular field, don't you? I am curious as to how this investment in research and development will benefit all of us. I think the answer is clear: it will not change a thing in the economy, however, the companies and universities involved will have lots more money, ditto the staff. So what, who cares? They waste so much money anyway. And by the way, there is a factor involved here that definitely WILL NOT benefit from all this research: The animals used in the research. Still, I suppose this will be good business for the monkey farms, and the laboratories will be overflowing with cats, dogs and rabbits. Wow, life is great!

Sorry Raccoon, could not access the link you sent. I know all about nano research. I have no doubt that it is an advanced technology, and certain people will benefit. I am still not thrilled, maybe because I know first-hand what goes on in those research labs. But obviously, people are more interested in so called "scientific advancements" than finding out the truth about the greedy corporations and university staff who do horrible things with the money they get for a bit of R n' D.

We need to continue our funding and investments in nanotech because it is just about to hit the market and we need to maintain out competitiveness so that we can be a leader in this new tech, as we know that nanotech originated from electronics giant then to MEMS and then to biotech but in future nanotech will hit each and every sector of technology so it ivery imp to have faith and continue our work on nano scale technologies. http://nanomanufacturing.webs.io/ http://nanoinvesting.webs.io/
