Sagi,
I agree with you that in order to achieve a comprehensive victory over Israel's enemies, high-tech weapons, such as UAV, are not enough and ground forces, in particular special units, are needed.
However, the use of UAV that I am suggesting is a solution to a SPECIFIC problem: qassam fire.
I would argue that the combination of UAV for target identification and Apache helicopter on stand by for engaging the terrorists is a much more effective, risk-averse strategy for eliminating rocket fire than using ground forces.
Israel certainly possesses the technology and adequate number of UAVs to implement this strategy and put an end to Sderot’s sufferings.
Someone, please, give me a good, fact-supported reason why UAVs can not be used in the manner I am proposing?

Lieberman has the right strategy. As long as the terrorist leaders feel safe, they don't care how many of their followers get killed. They must be held accountable & suffer the consequences personally. This applies to both Fatah & Hamas. Blow up Abu Mazen's house & aside from the BS speeches, you'll see how he'll work harder to stop terrorism. Same with Haniya & all the others.

First, world's civilized countries should NOT TOLLERATE Iran continously theatening to destroy
Israel. All over the mideast there
is a massive and gostly ferocious presenze of Iranian sponsored criminals. The best urgent way
to stop such barbarian genocides
is to confront violently Iran, which is
undoubtfully the most dangerous
monster of this scorching new century.
