...as the world needs to know that this is happening. YnetNews will remove this page after a period of time - I would like to post the video to my blog, but cannot due to the limitations of Ynet's systems.
2. Thank you for the footage
Steve ,   USA   (11.16.06)
B"H Now we can understand better what is going on. Now the footage needs to be analyzed to find where that missile originated from. If the chanels are in stereo, it should be possible to get the delay between left and right channels to identify where this missile came from exactly. Cameras need to be tracking each one of these with stereo reception.
3. @Sderot inhabitants....
Kais ,   Qatar   (11.16.06)
The fear of a Kassam rocket is very minor compared to the fear millions of Arabs in Lebanon and Palestine must survive and endure from IDF F16 bombs and artilery shells! If you really want to fear for you lives I suggest you visit South Lebanon or Gaza during an Israeli offensive! If this is the limit of your fear in Sderot then you would die of a heart attack in Gaza or south Lebanon if you were lucky to escape a direct hit by the IDF!

What a terrible place to stay! Tal, Yonit, if you're reading this: please move to a more secure place, at least temporarily until your army clears the area of the Kassam launching pads. A single shrapnell at the wrong place in the body could ruin your whole life. Absolutely NOTHING is worth this risk-taking at such a young age! The guys launching those Kassams at harmless civilians should be the ones at the receiving end, not you!
5. You won't believe THIS!!!
James ,   London uk   (11.16.06)
Israel has WARNED several militants they are about to attack them http://www.haaretz.com/hasen/spages/788562.html
6. This is why we fight!
Avi   (11.16.06)
Palestinians think this is glory, but for every Israeli that is injured, 10 times the suffering will be brought back to them. Right now the terrorists in gaza are probably cheering and hiding behind their human shields hoping to blame Israel.

You can't run away - you can't give in to terrorism, just fight back. I just read that the woman who was killed yesterday was a Muslim woman married to a Jew from Central Asia. Terrorists don't care who they kill - they just want to kill. Every day I see the news from Iraq & every day there are many civilians killed & maimed by terrorists. All over the world, you see the same thing. You can't run away - this nasty phenomenon must be defeated because it will follow you wherever you go. But, your heart is in the right place, thanks for the concern.

We wouldn't attack lebanon or gaza if you wouldn't shoot qassams or katyushas and kidnap our soldiers. You always bring these bad things and war upon YOURSELF. Perhaps you arabs should think for a moment: "why do we support the terrorist organizations after all? why dont we help to hunt them down and bring peace?" Sincerely, The Jewish Citizen of Israel.

Where can they move to? If we evacuate Sderot, Ashkelon will be targeted. Sderot is their home.

14. @@@ Sderot residents, READ THIS PLEASE! @@@
@@@ IMPORTANT! @@@ ,   @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@   (11.16.06)
You need to create a civil guard and protect yourselves!! The government won't help you, they only care for their seats in the knesset!!! Like people said before me, create a civil guard and every time a qassam lands in sderot, shoot your own rockets and mortars at gaza, to let them see YOU DONT MESS WITH SDEROT RESIDENTS! Be strong and of good courage sderot residents!! WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
15. "Homemade Rockets"
Yosef Dov ,   Jerusalem, ISRAEL   (11.16.06)
Say, why don't some enterprising Israeli's make some "homemade rockets" and fire back??? Oh-oops, the first launch of one of those would bring immeditate world wide condemnation! Just like Iran's complaint to the UN that Israel is threating them!
16. #3, Kais...the only difference is
DR ,   Florida, USA   (11.16.06)
that these students aren't terrorists. Hezballah are. You keep comparing IDF missions to terror missions and its fooling no one. We all know that Isarel attacked Hezballah, not Lebanon. And in Gaza IDF goes after rocket launching sites (which happen to be in neighborhoods) nd sometimes people get hurt. Your comparisons are sickening and stupid. Please stop wasting out time.
17. Reply to #9 Terry
Farid H. ,   Morocco / Germany   (11.16.06)
Thank you for your kind words, Terry. But please read again: I'm actually saying that the IDF should do what needs to be done to clean up the area (of the Kassams and people who launch them, not of Sderot residents!). Sderotis need to fight for their homes, that's self-evident, but please let the specialists do the job. Just letting non-combattants passively stay in harm's way is not going to help them at all. Tal and Yonit are young college students who have a whole and hopefully long and happy life before them. Their job right now is to make good grades. They don't fight the enemy just by offering him an easy target!
