Well I would imagine no one would be too thrilled to have someone move in and steal their land. Especially when those settlers get to use special roads and have military protection which stands idley by when settlers are attacking innocent Palestinian civilians! When you want to see the epitome of hate in this conflict look at Hamas, but also look at settlers like those in Hebron. Settlers in Hebron often threaten Palestinian children preventing them from attending school and throw stones at Palestinians, how cowardly and evil is it to target innocent little children. Also Baruch Goldstein murder 29 Palestinians as they were praying. The evil act commited by Goldstein was just as evil as any attack by a suicide bomber in the streets of Jerusalem or Tel Aviv! There will be no peace until the settlers stop forcefully and ignorantly stealing Palestinian land. Why can't these people live in Tel Aviv, Jerusalem, or the Galillee? Why must they provoke and harm Palestinians? Why do these settlers from the US and Europe have a greater right to the West Bank and Gaza than the Palestinians, who were born and raised there and who's ancestors have live there for hundreds if not thousands of years?!

You describe the "Palestinians" as having this tremendous connection to the so-called "West Bank" and Gaza. In truth, they say it's not their home. They want to move inside Israel. This is why they still call their slums by the term "refugee camps." They see themselves as being in the "West Bank" and Gaza temporarily. The Pals were claiming quite loudly some decades ago that the "West Bank" was uninhabitable. They said that the Jews got the GOOD LAND in Israel and that the Pals got the HORRID land in the West Bank. Jewish settlers have turned areas of the so-called "West Bank" into the loveliest gardens you could imagine. There's nothing wrong with the land at all when Jews are on it. Similarly, the Jewish communities in Gaza were GORGEOUS! Not just pretty, but downright GORGEOUS! Now, all of Gaza is nothing but a horrid, ruined wasteland again now that the Jews are gone from it. The Holy Land only thrives when Jews are there to make it thrive. Did you know that the name "green line" was coined for the '67 cease fire lines because the Israeli side of the line was green and lush while the Arab side of the line was brown and desolate? The land belongs to the Jewish people. Only Jews make it thrive. The Arab world is HUGE. There are plenty of spaces left in it to create a homeland for the Pals, if they actually want one (which I doubt.) The Pals want the Jews gone, that's all. Their entire culture is based on destroying another people's culture. This is why Jewish communities thrive in Judea and Samaria, including in Hevron. P.S. Hevron is an important area for Israel to keep because of the slaughter of young Jewish students there in 1929. Their families had been there for hundreds of years. These young students were hacked to death (70 of them.) The survivors had their hands and feet cut off, and their eyes were gouged out. British police stood by idly and let this happen. Israel will most definitely keep Hevron. It's also the burial site of most of the Jewish patriarchs: Avraham and Sarah, Isaac and Rebecca, Jacob and Leah (the mother and father of Judah.) The Jewish people get our name from "Judea" (ie, "Judeans.") This goes back thousands of years. You can't tell a people that the land that gave them their name is not their home, especially if they've had this name for thousands of years. "The Palestinians" got their name in 1969. They were never a "people" until a PR campaign invented them as a people. There's no record of "Palestinians" anywhere prior to 1969. "Palestine" is a Latin-based name that the Pals can't even pronounce. There is no letter "P" in Arabic. This is why they pronounce their Latin name as "Balestine." It's a scam.
