These were violent protests where property was being destroyed and Jews were being dragged from their cars and attacked in Northern Israel as part of the beginning of the intifada war that was launched against Israel. If Arabs with Israeli citizenship want to fight an intifada, they should give up their citizenship and leave. Israel should not have paid these families. It will only make them get worse.

The should go to court, invite the media, and show the whole world how these people were killed in cold blood. This is the only way to ensure that this does not happen again.

This has nothing to do with the intifada. They demonstrated just like the haridem did to pretest the gay parae in jerusalem and just like the settellers in gaza. These Arabs tried to kill and or maim Jews - please make no comparisons to hareidi demonstrations in Jerusalem or the Gaza disengagement protests. They had killed one Jew by stoning his car on the coastal highway and wounded others. They are willing to pay the families of rioters.They should have told them that they were lucky that there were not more dead. If someone is killed robbing a bank,should that state pay compensation to his family? No. It is time to let them know that rioters will be punished and severely.That includes the hara-dim.
