To all those of you complaining one way or another about this story: 1) It's unlikely this is actually a verbatim copy of some kid's blog. Especially when that kid (through the author) admits he has limited computer access. 2) The fact that this is a made-up story in no diminishes its value. 3) James, you live in Ohio (or so you say). There's a huge difference between living far away in perfect safety (I say this because I lived in America 24 years) and making up a story like this and living here, in the middle of it, seeing such regrettable things happen and having people put it in your name. Actually, most of palestinians interest in peace; it is a need to rebuild their destryed life. All what you see on TV are emotional signs of living under fire, either israeli and local. While people in Israel can call for help from their government, people in Palestine don't find any one to help them. So, peace is a very interest to most of us, actually it is our way to future.

i think it's probably true; and if so, i would want to contact/meet this kid. i somewhat know where he's coming from: i try to be a good jew; yet want to get more into skating, maybe even go pro in the long run. and most adults i know don't take skateboarding seriously. a project i have in mind is to create an amature skate team of mixed ethnicity; jews, arabs, christians, maybe even a hindi or something. contact if you are interested in speaking
