1. The French error
Avner ,   Ashkelon   (11.23.06)
French ambassador shows his true colors! This is what he said: "France supported the decision to condemn the rocket fire ALONG WITH the condemnation of the killing of civilians in Beit Hanoun. Our position is not unbalanced. Exactly the opposite. You are unbalanced! This is not two sides of the same coin. Deliberate targeting and killing of civillians does not equal accidental killing of civilians! Full Stop! And you should make that point clear, otherwise you simply play directly into the hands of all the murderous gangs in Gaza!
2. Two-faced French!
Chaya ,   Bat Yam   (11.23.06)
Please spare us your 'balanced' comments. We are being attacked on a daily basis! And the French UNIFIL forces are saying that they will shoot at Israeli planes flying over Lebanon. The French have nothing to say with their Vichy background. If the Americans hadn't defeated the Nazis they would be speaking German today in France. As the situation exists today, pretty soon the official language of France will be Arabic!! Don't buy French products!!
3. Israel aware France is a pain
Uziel   (11.24.06)
in free worlds´ a*s... A German diplomat of the WWII afterwards used to say: "France is the political prostitute of the world." He insulted the prostitutes gratuitously.
4. to chaya i'm very upset about the french reaction to the UN

malcolm   (11.24.06)
6. Maybe if Ms. Royal is the next French president they will
Fasulia Hudra   (11.24.06)
Maybe if Ms. Royal is the next French president, France may finally have a president with balls. Remember that Margaret Thatcher, Golda Meir, Indira Gandhe, and Benazir Bhutto were amongst the best leaders of the world and although they were women - THEY HAD BALLS.
7. Useless talk
Art ,   Sydney   (11.24.06)
Just useless talk from people who couldn't care less about Jewish lives and care only to appease their huge Muslim minority back at home. Israel must defend itself using ALL means at its disposal. Pay no attention to these Pal-loving, Jew-haters. IDF - JUST GET ON WITH THE JOB!!
8. Sderot/Western Negev Jews RELYon Daily MIRACLES for SURVIVAL
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (11.24.06)
Like no other military in the world, Israel takes the greatest care not to harm civilians. IDF soldiers are repeatedly killed because of Israel's policy. Serial killers Islamo-Fascist terrorist organizations wage war on civilian populations. They hide behind women and children and fire rockets from within densely populated areas. It is non-stop war against the Jewish state. Sderot, Ashkelon and towns surrounding Gaza are under constant, incessant daily rocket barrage from the enemy. Muslim human bomb killers continually attempt to infiltrate into Israeli cities. PA Muslims pass out sweets and celebrate in the streets by the thousands whenever Muslim human bomb killers murder Jewish innocents. Palestinian Authority society are taught murdering Jews is the highest goal in life and attains paradise: http://www.pmw.org.il/AFD.html YNET Article Sderot kids: Can't remember life without Qassams Miri Chason 11.08.06, 00:28 To the children of Sderot and the western Negev, life in the shadow of Qassams has been a traumatic experience for a long time...kids who have been under constant threat of rocket attacks. "We have no normal life. We never know what will happen the next hour when Qassams fall; we are not only afraid for ourselves, but also for our families. It's traumatic to think that someone close to us will get hurt. It's just terrible," said Bar, one of the children who testified before the committee... I have a hard time concentrating in school, and the Qassams affect my entire life," said Niv. "Every time I want to do something, I give up because I think that the alarm will go off at any moment... http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3325250,00.html Before Gaza's Jews were deported, Islamists rained down thousands of rockets on Gaza's Jewish communities. Daily miracles from G-D kept the number of Jews injured and killed amazingly low. Sderot's and western Negev's Jews now rely on daily miracles for survival. Every country on earth has the legitimate right of self-defense to protect their citizens from continual war waged against their civilian population. It is immoral to allow these attacks on Israel's civilian population to continue. Take back Gaza now. The U.S. EU UN seek to give the biggest terror-supporting society in the world a second Global Islamic terror state in the Jewish ancestral homeland of Biblical Judea and Samaria reducing tiny Israel at mid-section to indefensible 9 miles wide Auschwitz borders facilitating a second Holocaust of Jews. 9. It is sickening to hear the French garbage talk
Lizz ,   USA   (11.24.06)
10. The French viruses will not fool the USA.
Mel ,   USA   (11.24.06)
May the unly French entity get what it deserves.
11. Diplomacy? The world knows but DOES NOT CARE
Zvi   (11.24.06)
Not diplomacy, because diplomats worldwide simply don't care if Israelis die. Media relations is another matter. It is Israel's responsibility to make sure, without endangering Israeli or Palestinian civilians, that rocket attacks against Israeli civilians are reported in the mainstream media. To accomplish this, these things are necessary: 1. Israel must provide enough human information about rocket attack victims (wounded, killed and/or traumatized people in Sderot/etc.) to make the story interesting to a cynical media in which "if it bleeds it leads." 2. It must do so visually and not just in text or in briefings. There is of course a delicate balance; you don't want to give encouragement to the terrorists. But right now they know that the international public will not see their actions and will see only Israel's responses, which will be perceived as aggression. That has to stop.
12. French
Jake ,   Toronto,Canada   (11.24.06)
Donot trust the French and there cowardly bullshit,we in canada run into the same stupid bullshit with the separatist quebecers and the whole truth is that they are gutless.
13. all the more reason for French UNIFIL contingent
israeli ,   israel   (11.24.06)
to be willing to shoot at Israeli planes: they got their asses kicked 4-2 on their own turf by Hapoel Tel-Aviv, earlier tonight. And who should deliver the deadly blows? The Arabs again, Salim Toama (two goals and an assist) and Walid Badir: http://www.ynetnews.com/articles/0,7340,L-3331994,00.html That was sooooooh sweet!
14. French ambassador: We are aware of Sderot’s pain
gabriela ben ari ,   jerusalem   (11.24.06)
Good you are, Olmert is not
15. Boycott all French products now
Reuven ,   kiryat ata, Israel   (11.24.06)
There have been over 300 anti-semetic attacks in France this month and, not only is there a news blackout on this, the French government is doing nothing about it. The Vichy French bicycle seat sniffers have not changed. They don't like the Jews...they never have. Israelis must stop supporting French anti-semitism by boycotting all French products including wine (Israel's is as good or better), cheese, and especially CARS. Throw this woman out. Showing her our pain will do nothing to change her mind.
16. That's what it takes to be balanced
Jonathan   (11.24.06)
Check out all the garbage spilled over the French on talkback message 1 to 15. The French are balanced. Bigots who are not hate them, of course. They just wish the French were as unbalanced as they were. Were they as courageous as they claim, they'd move from their cosy homes in Northern America and move to Sderot.
17. #16 well said
Rustum ,   London, UK   (11.24.06)
Amazing that the slightest hint of criticism brings out the bigot-posters with their usual streams of invective, ending up with Adon Reuven of Kiryat Ata "Boycott all French products now". By the time he has finished boycotting products from any country which has slightly criticised barbarian Israeli policy, there'll be nothing left for him to buy except the sleeping tablets made by a pharmaceutical factory in the former village of Kofrita.
18. France?
Mark ,   New York   (11.24.06)
I'd join a boycott of French products, but I just can think of any. Do they make any? It's terribly hard to take the French seriously about anything at all.
