1. Shalit
Listen Egypt, if the Palis think that one Israeli is worth 1400 of their own, it must be correct. If I were Israel, and the Palis' low opinion of themselves notwithstanding, I'd offer them the women and children and then tell them to go fly kites, carpets, camels, or whatever. I bet they'd let those women and children rot before they'd give back Shalit. Being a female, that just makes me want to head for Ramallah and sign up for jihad. The're such a nice, god-fearing, peaceful bunch of people!!!!

5. So where is the video? Muslims know how to film hostages :-(
One now has to sadly consider that Shalit is no longer alive if he ever was after the attack.
A video of a live healthy Shalit would help their 'blackmail' but they are seemingly unable to provide it.

I agree with you.
I very much doubt he is still alive and this is why Mashaal is insisting that half the prisoners be released before he releases Shalit. I wonder what Israels reaction will be when he is returned dead, but then again with an appeasing fool named Olmert running the country, i doubt much will happen.
Mashaal thinks it all a joke but he wont be laughing when, eventually, he will be blown into a thousand pieces. His days are numbered !!

17. To the Naive and Clueless Fadi
You think the world is stupid. You can not silence the truth. It is like the light in the darkness. You mention nothing about what the Hezbollah kidnapping of the two soldiers has done to Lebanon. You mention nothing about Iranian persecution and murder of their Jewish, Christian, women, and other minority groups. You mention nothing about Hezbollah, Iran and Syria murdering the Lebanese minister last week or the hundreds of innocent Lebanese who are killed daily by the Hezbollah in their attempts to silence opposition. You mention nothing of the many Lebanese children starving today in the streets, because your Hezbollah has been stealing the Arab reconstruction and food money to fill their Swiss bank accounts like Arafat did and Hamas is doing today. While your Hezbollah leadership are eating imported wines, meat and cheeses in warm hotel rooms, the poor Lebanese are starving and freezing in the streets. Laugh now, but you failed to mention nothing of the UN in the streets or the Lebanese Army that is deployed. Some of them have been stopping the Hezbollah. Soon, all of the Lebanese Army will have the courage to stop and face the Hezbollah. You mention nothing of how southern Lebanon is lamost totally free of Hezbollah influence. Yes, two soldiers are in your master’s hands, but things are a lot different for the Hezbollah since last year. Quit hiding on your knees in the dark under your Iranian master’s skirt and be a man for a change for freedom in Lebanon. You do not represent the real Lebanon.

22. To #1 M Hartley, 'Palis' is wrong
1 'Pali' is an English word which means something else.
2. The Palestinan Arabs call their national entity Phallasteen, so maybe 'Phallis' is more inappropriate.

25. #18 no balls
We laid landmines, dropped more than 1 million bombs on the Lebanese people, during it's peak we had about 40000 soldiers over there, hundreds of tanks, hundreds of thousands artillery shells fell on lebanese soil, hundreds of F-15's, F-16's, Apache's, Cobra attack helicopters, Special Forces like Sayaret Golani and Sayaret Matkal and still we lost the bloody war due to a couple of thousands guerilla's who had more determination than we and more than we ever would have.
Face the facts here, as a former Golani brigade soldier, who fought for Israel (which then was a wonderful country) in the '67 and '73 wars it's hartbreaking to see dat our soldiers don't have the balls to win a war anymore. Our sons and daughters love life too much, we are not able to give our lives for any cause anymore. So therefore I think that in the end Israel will destroy itself, like our sacred Tenach has told us.
Shalom !

I, intentionally, ignored the reference to "Phallis" and the possible, tongue-in-cheek implication in your previous post to me. Lack of first-hand or, come to think of it, any other experience in that field precludes me from even commenting.

30. 1500 to 1: the value of an Israeli
Interesting the value Meshaal has put on Shalit's exchange now is about 1500 Palestinian prisoners - says a lot about the two states' respective value of their fighters. (O sorry, I forgot Meshaal isn't interested in a state)
