The Lubavitcher Rebbe clearly stated the harm that comes when politicians get involved in military decisions. Would any of the military experts who are now kindly deferring to the wisdom of the politicians want to go in for heart surgery and have a foot specialist perform the operation? Or a psychologist? No, they would want a heart specialist, and the best at that. So too it is now. We must be alarmed by this development.
