They want peace, a piece of all of Israel. Israel is also commiting a sin by even considering a hudna with Hamas. The forced peace with Hezbollah has produced 10,000 rockets. Now, Fatah is increasing their capabiities. Sooner or later, Israel will have to decide: either it wants to live and thrive, or continue to die a slow death, like the Chinese water torture, or death of 1,000 cuts. Israel has the artillery to end this, but not the brains.

How about acting like a government for once and reign in these militias, how is peace supposed to be sought when they can't even control there whole people. Is Israel supposed to have peace / ceasefire with Al Aqsa but not the Liberation Front, how is Israel supposed to have peace with one group but not another, how are they to distinguish. How are they to retaliate with out offending or breaking there ceasefire with one group. Come on Hamas, reign in these groups and take control, OR give the reins to a group that can or is willing.

Sunday night, we had a Christmas parade down Hollywood Blvd, in Hollywood. There were 1m people. Guess what, no protests, even though the religious theme. We even have gay rights parades annually (another part of town). Guess what, no protests, even though thousands march. Why in Israel is everything so controversial? Can anyone fathom for one moment, a militia firing 4,000 Katyushas or 1700 Kassam rockets into, let's say, Beverly Hills, or Pasadena, or Burank, or central Los Angeles? I mean, get real, all those mansions being blown up. We invaded Afghanistan and Iraq for much less. Israel is coddling the Palestinians. You ask why, well, thank Condi, the State Dept, the oil companies, Pelosi's liberal friends, and Americans for Peace Now (war later). It's whose ox is being gored. Israeli Jewish lives are cheap. If you have no problem with the use of Katyushas which are fired indiscriminately in order to kill Israelis civilians or military personnel, why would you have a problem with satellite guided bombs, J-DAMS, or cruise missiles being fired at a paramilitary force operating within YOUR civilian population in Lebanon?
