1. Perhaps Iran electorate tired of the circus too
Steve ,   USA   (12.03.06)
B"H What is good for Iran about threatening the economy, sending the military out to attack Israel instead of deepening economic ties with it, and blaming all the internal issues on Israel? Maybe the local electorate is going to get more tired of the situation than Israel and will finally do what is necessary to avert a nuclear crisis which is bad for the Iranian economy. That would be very responsible of Iran, to start working toward world harmony instead of the opposite. Perhaps the Iranians were not so impressed with the "victory" speeches which meant Iran rebuilt Lebanon instead of building Iran.

3. leave ahmadinejad in office - at least he speaks straight
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (12.03.06)
unlike rafsanjani, who has the same crazy islamic beliefs and wants to destroy israel with no less enthusiasm. keep the true face and mouth of iran as president and don't give appeasers an excuse to ignore the warmongering and fanatical islamic imperialism that threatens everyone who is not a fundamentalist shi'ia.
4. Well, maybe...
Mush DeLeon ,   Brooklyn, New York   (12.03.06)
.....Maybe now Ahmadenijad can finally pursue the true Persian dream - a blue jeans store in Los Angeles staffed by his really hot, slutty daughters. Man, if only life were so sweet.
5. Merely a squabble among those who basically

think alike. As in previous "elections," the overwhelming number of potential candidates will not be ratified and therefore will not be able to run. That is why these "elections" typically have apallingly low turnout, even though it is illegal not to vote.

Can we please get this war mongering ahmadinejad out of our government so we might be able to focus on economy and all,i mean we have to make our country and our people happy in order to have the faith to go on normally, all of this talk of we hate these people or we hate this sectarian group just frustrates and does no good what so ever for the main part of our country which is the people, remember without the people that you government who control all would really have nothing, you would have nothing to boast for and your population would be only YOU,the rich and prosperis, what if all the poorer and poorest were to turn against the government, that would be how many million,if you were to wipe all the poor and poorer how many of the so lucky rich would be left to defend our country? ahmadinejad SHUT YOUR BIG MOUTH NOW.

On the contrary, the circus is in the White House with a draft dodger posing as president. Also. it is the US govn't that is moving towards world disharmony using taxpayers money to kill women and children. From Korea to Vietnam,Panama, Iraq,....Have I missed on something?Open your eyes and stop repeating what the media barons wants you to say.
13. # 12 Steve
alan winters ,   bellaire, USA   (12.04.06)
You are behind the time. The draft dodger has not been in our White House for 6 years. Wake up and read! The parliament move to early election for the president is a tactic to delay the West from attack. Nothing more. I say, destroy Iran's offensive capability now, before they can respond in kind. Just remember, you are closer than we and will likely see their nukes before i do.
14. Parliament shortens Ahmadinejad's term

maybe the US wants to talk to Iran but not to Ahmadinejad
15. Alan: The laugh's on you
Michael ,   China   (12.04.06)
Alan Delay an attack! on whom? and for what? Who is at the other end of the table everytime, for so called negotiations? Who do you think is more likely to survive a military attack? The people or the government? Once the country has been set back to the stone age and all it's wealth taken, who is going want to invade further and topple the government ? Now think about who will be at the other end of the table for peace negotiations? The laugh's on you because you are being conned yet again by your own government into thinking your survival is dependent upon the murder and distruction of other people and theft of their wealth.
16. the iranians are making a mistake - he made them a force

he put the evil into axis of evil and will go down as being the #2 evil dude after Khomeini
17. Of course they need to cut costs
Money need 4 Iran ,   Pls donate kindly   (12.04.06)
Listen fuelling warring factions in Lebanon, terrorism in Syria, Egypt Jordan and everywhere else takes money...so they spend their money internationally and therefore have to cut costs at home, it makes good economic sense..n'cest pas??

Why don't you both listen to Wesley from Tehran. Until you guys get jet airliners filled with innocent people flying into your buildings by Terrorists, I don't want to hear your crap about disharmony. There will be NO harmony as long as these people want to kill us. When you have a leader of a country stating that they want to wipe Israel off the face of the planet?.... There's your harmony pal. As for #15 Michael in China,... negotiate this! We have spoken to the likes of "Ahmad needs a job" and "Kim Jung Mentally Ill' enough. They have no desire to stop doing anything they are doing only to buy time for their own plan of devistation.
20. RE: Wesley #11
Gary ,   Freedom, USA   (12.05.06)
Thank you wesley for voicing the true Sentiments of the people in Iran. The USA doesn't want to go to war with the people of Iran, but the Iranian government, which the majority of your citizens do not support, may make war the only option for the stability of the Middle East and the continued existence of Isreal.
21. Darren Gary My fellow Americans
AR ,   California USA   (12.05.06)
First off we have never negotiated with Amadinejerk. Its been 30 years since we have formally even talked to them. So shut it. Rafsanjani wont get elected either. The reason Amadinejad got elected was because he was running against Rafsanjani and no one in iran likes that fool. Anyways this wont change americas position about the whole talking with iran thing they just wont talk to them i dont know what it is with the fools in washington. Ya and Amedina hand job never said he was gonna wipe israel off the face of the earth your stupid and need to check your facts. Gary you need to shut your trap. Their are so many dumb americans who just talk about war and none of them no what war really is. Your talking about destroying an entire country. Dont even think about saying iran is forcing the USA into war. If the USA wanted stability in the Mideast it would get out of iraq stop blindly supporting israel and start talking to people. How can we call ourselves civilized when we wont even talk to the very people who helped us in afghanistan and who warned us about those jets that flew into our buildings before it happened. You guys really need to check the facts and see who it was that helped start Al Qaeda. Who was it that taught them how to sneek box cutters onto airplanes (CIA)(FACT). Hell they learned how to fly their planes in the USA for g@ds sake. PS. George bush is a draft dodger douch.
22. AR ? You have no clue.
Darren ,   Albany, NY   (12.05.06)
You need to check your facts. He not only said he would wipe them out once, ... he repeated it 1 month later. You also need to learn a lesson about negotiations. Iran has violated resolution after resolution with your beloved UN, and it is obviouse to any reasonably intelligent person to understand that this country's leader can not be trusted. Again I say, negotiate this! There are problems with the administration I will give you that, but do not underestimate the enemy. It is your type of thinking that is going to get us all killed. If you want to live under Shirria law (sp?) Move to Saudi Arabia, because that is where your way of thinking is going to lead our country. You and your liberal socialist thinking. Make no mistake, they want to kill you just as much as they do me.

Ya those idiots are retarded but just one question do you watch Glen Beck? If you do and dont think that guy is a complete joke then there is no way i will be able to change your mind on the subject so i wont even try. (the reason i say this is because your last entry was like something straight out of that idiots mouth) no offense. Saying i want to live under Sharia is just ludicrus. I dont want to live under a nuclear cloud. This is a new world my friend what you think any country on the planet who wants a nuke cant get one? Of course they can. ANYONE. What America should be doing is A (making sure no one will want to use them against us) B (they will get blown to kingdom come for even attacking us) Darren dont underestimate Capitalism because people will do anything for money and if you think they wont start wars for some then you need to check history. One more point Capitalism is Facism little brother. (I hate bush but he was right when he called the leaders of iran Islamo Facist because pretty much that is the best way to define them)
24. AR, Calif
Darren ,   Albany, NY   (12.05.06)
I don't listen to glen beck. I agree with some of what you say, but you can't play both sides here. Can any country get nukes if they want them...yes. Does that mean they should be allowed to have them when they are threatening to wipe a country off the planet, NO. Would the terrorists like to get their hands on a nuke and bring it here? You betcha! They may already have some here, who knows? How do you expect to make sure Iran will not use them? You can't negotiate with this guy, you seem smart enough to understand that. Capitalism is not perfect but it certainly is not Fascism, but we are becoming a Fascist society if we don't stand up for our rights endowed by our Creator. The problem there is many in this great country of ours have become goddless so we push God out of our schools, courtrooms etc...Fascism is when government exercises a dictatorship over everything, business & also your religion. We are not there yet, but given the track record of our court system, we are well on our way. We used to be a country revered and blessed by God. Now that we are kicking him out, how much protection and blessing will he provide? For those of you who don't believe in God, eat drink & be merry for tommorrow we die...
25. RE: 21, AR
Gary ,   Freedom, USA   (12.06.06)
Dear AR, Typical liberal running of the mouth. Obviously you are a product of the government run education system because you have no comprhension of even the few words that I wrote, not to mention your ignorance of any facts concerning the issue.
26. #21
AT ,   washington, USA   (12.06.06)
AR, they didn't have to sneek box cutters on the planes, they were legal to take on at that time. i would suggest you check your facts before you go off on others.
