I would appreciate it if someone could give me just one instance where our "good friend" India voted FOR Israel at the UN, whether in the Security Council, the General Assembly, the Human Rights Council, or any UN associated unit.

To #2, I would ask by the same token, when did Israel ever vote for India? For years, prior to the establishment of relations with India, the prevailing opinion in Israel was that India could be of no use to Israel, and was looked down upon. Strangely enough, now that so many Israelis have visited India, all of a sudded we see this empathy towards India. In the past, India was considered poor, corrupt, backward. Well look at ourselves (Israel).....Poverty - Yes ! Corruption - You bet ! Backwardness - Absolutely, and especially in our mentality and the incorrect indoctrination over the years of us being "Aam Sgula."

UN is a toothless organization. I dont know why so many israelis obsess over Indian votes. We are a democracy and have our factions to appease unfortunately. The votes were of little substance anyway. Doesn't mean we cant go forward. I would infact say infact we are 'natural allies'. For other ppl their is more to India than just TajMahal. Peace.

They have much to be proud of. The United States was looked upon as a bunch of lowly colonists. So was India. Don't think India won't become a nation of entrepeneurs and military strength. There country is just turning the corner towards excellence.

its ironic that the "picture" of india is muslim architecture maybe cause india is a secular country which doesnt discriminate against muslim or christain or hindu...maybe is different over there in israel

India and Israel should join hand and overcome their difficulties. India can help Israel positively on palestinian issues, as India has diverse mix of religions itself, whereas India can gain in it's defence capabilities and technologies, from israel. This would be a very good relationship, where israel and india both compliment each other.
