is not on public USA property. after what that 'rabbi' did to the USA christmas trees at that airport- i dont want to see one of those candle sticks on USA public property EVER. plus, hanukah actually celebrates a "WAR" that the jews won-- killing some goys.

Sorry to hear of your apparent indignity at the Georgian public display of a menorah. Were Georgia to allow the public display of the menorah to the exclusion of the Crucifix and Christmas tree, your objection might have merit. In fact, Georgia has various public holidays and public displays in honor of Christian religious events (including Orthodox Christmas, Good Friday, and Baptism Day). If I understand the rabbi's objection, it was that the Christmas tree was allowed to be displayed, while the menorah was not. According to the Supreme Court, both are considered secular displays in the USA. Thus, the rationale for permitting the one and not the other is bogus.

Hannukah is not a simple celebration of war, our redneck friend. Find out what the holiday is all about before writing nonsense. If you don't like our "candle sticks", you might move to Iran. If Judeo-Christian principles aren't for you, maybe shariat of Iran would be more fitting. Here in the US, 7 million of us and millions of Christians celebrate and cheer with us our holiday, just like I cheer with my Christian friends, neighbors and co-workers on their holidays.
4. Georgia, the country, not the state
Alex ,   NYC   (12.20.06)
Georgia discussed here is a country that was formerly part of the Soviet Union, not the US state of Georgia. Kudos to our Georgian friends !

rabbi did.... he just wanted to add a minorah, but since the authorities at the airport did not want to anger the muslims they removed the christmas trees. DONT BLAME IT ON THE JEWS!
