1. good morning Europe!!!

2. Islamic Terrorists??
Harry ,   Kansas   (12.24.06)
There is only 1 Islam and being a terrorist is not part of being a muslim unless someone can show me where? So if there is only 1 Islam how can they be called Islamic Terrorists? Terrorism is not part of Judaism or Christianity so can we call someone a christian or jewish terrorist?
3. #2
peleg   (12.24.06)
dear harry, i am happy to hear you never heard someone scream allahu aqbar before he blew himself up in a place full of people
4. Harry ?
not Harry ,   Pennsylvania   (12.24.06)
Harry, you really should read more before you speak out. Maybe you should cut back on the crack.
5. To #3, peieg
Harry ,   Kansas   (12.24.06)
I will be very happy when you show me where it says in Islam you can kill civilians??
6. Harry
Tam   (12.24.06)
Time to take off the blinders!
7. #2 - OBVIOUS IDIOT!!!
(12.24.06)
Harry? You mean AHMAD the MAD?? first off we read of such groupings as the SUNNIs, the SHIITES, the WAHABIs, and the list goes on. So there aint no such thing as one ISLAM. There are many ISLAMS... and it's not known what they worship. Also, those who carry out such horrors as the crashing of airplanes into skyscrapers and claim to be Muslims are indeed ISLAMIC terrorists. And those of ISLAMIC persuasion who conduct murderous activities in random fashion against anybody they please aren't even worth the islamic devils, satans, and demons they worship. In other words Harry, #2, if that is indeed your name... you're a complete idiot!
8. To #7, and anyone else with an answer!
Harry ,   Kansas   (12.25.06)
How you people love to bend around the bush. I just love it. Yes thats right buddy "claim to be MUSLIMS"! If you do not act like a muslim then you are not a muslim you idiot. Is your religion written on your forehead? How can I call myself a jew if I practice christianity? Its really quite simple if you had a brain. And that list of "ISLAM" you were on about, they are different sects of Islam but all believe in ONE book. Just like the followers of the bible. NOW HERE IS MY QUESTION FOR EVERYONE! Where in Islam does it say that you can kill civilians? Please I would love to see where it says that what bin laden is doing makes him a muslim! Now if one of you can't find the answer please don't go to all that effort and abuse me becasue it just shows me you have lost the challenge. Have faith that someone else will find the answer!
9. Harry is right
nobodysacred ,   canada   (12.25.06)
Harry, I totally agree with you and I thank you for taking a stand against propaganda in spite of the pressure from the people full of hate against Islam. I wonder if my previous comment will be published. Let's see.
10. May God Bless you Harry..
Lynne   (12.26.06)
thank you very very much Harry, I assure you that Islam rejects ALL acts of terror whatever religious label is used to cover them.. I am a Muslim and I don't have to be a religious expert to know that suicide is the unforgivable sin in Islam.. killing innocent people is also worse.. what can one say for those who do both??? Islam allows us to fight ONLY defensive wars.. Jihad is self-defense and not a destructive weapon.. because Islam is peaceful but at the same time realistic it allows Muslims to fight only for self-defense and there are strict rules for this fighting.. for exampl.. we should never reject peace with the other side.. we should never betray those whom we have made peace with.. we should never start a fight..etc. every verse in the Qur'an that speaks of Jihad would surely have one or more of those rules before or after it.. there was nothing called ethics in war before Prophet Mohammad(PBUH).. the proof to this in the following Hadith.. "Do not be treacherous. Do not mutilate. Do not kill children, the aged or women. Do not cut palm trees or fruitful trees. Do not not slay a sheep, a cow, or a camel except for your food. And you will come across people who confined themselves to worship in monasteries; leave them alone to what they devoted themselves for." (Al- Tabari, volume3, p.213) I wish others would be as strong and honest as you are and learn Islam from it's sources and not from the mutated media and Bush's speeches.. Merry Christmas/ Happy Hannukah/ Happy Eid.. (I hope this year would be a beginning for our unity Muslims, Christians and Jews since we are all celebrating our religious occassions during the same period this time)

You like to eat snow?? Yeah, us too! When we camp out in winter it is easy to make "snow creme" instead of ice creme. We have a joke about that. You see, you have to be careful were you get your snow. Someone even wrote a song about it: "Oh, no! Don't eat that yellow snow, Out in the wildlands were the Huskys go!!" Horses. No, Susie is no longer a pro at horse back riding. She was raised on a ranch. Then she married me, and I took her off to the city. So, she doesn't get to ride anymore. Oh my, dear! NEVER try to touch a horse from behind! They will kick you! Always stroke, pet, or touch one from the shoulder or neck! And speak ever so gently to it before you touch so it knows you mean it no harm. I prefer to apporch from the head. They can bite, but it is rare. I watch how they react to me. If they welcome me, great! If not, I leave it alone. Animals are like humans, each has it's own personality. If an animal senses you are afraid, it will make them afraid of you, too. If you convey to them you are confident and happy to see them, they usually respond in kind! Of course, there is always an exception to this rule. Like last News Years at my sister-in-law's house. On the second day there, her dog bit me very hard when I started to pet it! After it picked itself up off the floor on the other side of the room, it realized it had made a mistake! LOL! Her husband backed me up and put it in "doggy time out". It decided to be my buddy after that! The "Horse Pull" as we call it is a competition to see whose team of horses can pull the most weight. They hitch them to a sled and the horses have to pull it a certain distance. More weight is added with each succeeding round until only one team of horses can pull the sled. That team is the winner! Media. Yes, Lynne, you are so right about the media!! They slant the story to help those they want, or destroy those they don't like. It is worse now more than ever! The media elites used to try to cover up their bias, now they flaunt it! Well, I am sure it is very late on your side of the planet. So I will write more later!
12. Hello Rick!! is that you?!! hehehe..
Lynne   (01.18.07)
Hey!! it feels strange in here.. can we go back to our page?? LOL!! just kidding.. well.. well.. Hi Rick :).. you eat snow!! my God!! I've never heard of anyone who eats snow!! how could you?!! hehehe.. oh.. I shouldn't touch a horse from behind! oops.. I already did!! I guess I'll put horses in the same category with cats and dogs.. since from the front they'd bite and from behind they'd kick!! animals know when you're afraid!! you're telling me?!! this is another reason that scares me more from animals.. especially that cats and dogs can actually SMELL you when you're afraid!! so I get so nervous trying to supress my fear so that they wouldn't know and this only scares me further!!LOL!! seriously Rick, no matter how far dogs were from me they'd always turn around and glare at me!! once a dog turned and saw me and started trying to pull his master towards me!! it was sooo embarassing!! I felt like some criminal!! LOL!! a dog bit you and you're still alive!! I would have died from a heart attack ... not from the bite!! I really don't know how you could live with an animal running loose right in your own home!! by the way, what's your dog's name?? we do agree on the bias in media but I think that once we go through the details of why each of us has this belief we won't agree anymore!! I believe you're referring to what you call "propaganda against the Bush administration" , am I right?? good night for now!! My best wishes..

14. Yes Lynne, it is me!
Rick   (01.18.07)
Having a dog in the house can be very beneficial! Their sense of smell and hearing are most helpful for security reasons. Our dog is very, very protective of my wife and kids! And they can be loving and fun, too! But for you, I am sure an electronic alarm system would do much better! LOL! Yes, there is much bias in the media! Wait! I think that is a real mis-identification of what news/media outlets really do. They are really in the business of selling a specific product. It could be newspapers or movies, or selling times slots for advertising on television. What the viewers look for is entertainment. What media moguls look for is profit! The entertainment viewers/ readers look for is a form of "bait" media elites use to get people to look at what the media really wants. And that is to sell something! Along the way, some get to push their favorite agenda, too. Some lust for money, some lust for power! Some lust for both!! Early on in the Iraq war, the local people learned that reporters did not want to pay for positive news storys. No, instead they paid big bucks for the horror storys. That is because the normal human being wants to view someone else's tragedy. In some weird way, it gives them a sense of satisfaction that they are better off than the poor bastards they just saw on the tube! News people know this and help to foster a culture of fear! A good example of this is the situation I am in right now. A huge ice storm, one for the history books, is upon my region of the world. Tonight, on the news, a young reporter angrily talked about how "people could not take any more of this!!" As she spoke, the camera man paned his camera around the emergency shelter were the story was video-taped. What the audience saw was children laughing and playing together! Free hot food being served up! Clean, warm beds with blankets for people to use (again, free). Adults visiting and smiling to one another inside a warm and well lit gymnasium. All for free, no expense to the people. They are welcome to stay as long as they need to. So, who was so stressed out that "they could not take it anymore"? No one! The reporter was faking it to keep the viewers riveted to the tube! What crap!! I don't want to get another argument going with you, I hope you know that. But there are people who know how to give the media what it wants. Another horror story for the world to gasp at! By doing so, it serves their agenda. It helps them to obtain power. The media loves to lap this up. They love to cultivate the "it's us against them!" mind set! You like to think Bush is evil. Your media "proves" it to you everyday. My media "proves" the opposite. The US liberal media proves their agenda to put their guys back in power. It has worked. The real truth is Bush would most likely have been a one term president history would soon forget had it not been for the attack on the Twin Towers in New York. Given the choices in front of us on who to elect for Pres. after the Clintons there was not much of a choice! If I truely told you, in Biblical terms, how I feel about the Clintons and their crowd, Ynet would not publish this! Whoa! I just realized how much I have written! I hope you enjoyed it. I hope I didn't just pick another fight. Tomorrow, I have got to tell you the funniest story! Goodnight, Sweetie!
15. Dearest Rickie!!
Lynne   (01.19.07)
a fight? I too hope we wont get to fight again.. but.. this doesn't mean that I wont reply to what you said.. in fact you have said something I totally agree with!! "The real truth is Bush would most likely have been a one term president history would soon forget had it not been for the attack on the Twin Towers in New York." very true!! those attacks came just in time for Pres. Bush.. he was capable of waging whatever wars suited him under the slogan of fighting terrorism.. now anyone who does not agree with his wars is supporting terrorism.. the US after 9/11 has achieved a lot!! now this region is totally controlled by the US!! thanks to the Bush administration!! the twin towers have certainly turned him into a hero!! Media-- I wouldn't hold my media soley responsible for proving Bush as evil!! Bush has proved himself evil by his own acts.. history will one day prove him to you .. do you want media that will only tell us of the great achievements of the US in Iraq?? do you want media that would never speak of the brand new chaotic, destructed Iraq?? or the new also chaotic Afghanistan?? do you want media that would not tell us that the US was attacking Lebanon?? what media are you looking for?? all you want the world to see is a crowd of nuts cheering for the Saddam's statue being toppled by a US bulldozer.. or maybe the "democratic" hanging of the former dictator!! very dramatic indeed!! even hollywood billionaires could not have come up with such dramatic plays! and yes, people would rather hear about the US president's love story than hear about the famine in Africa!! and this was very well invested against Clinton!! many started focusing on Clinton's scandal just to get rid of him in favour of the republicans!! hmm.. cheap media.. and finally.. I'm only replying to your post.. if you feel that we're going to fight about this then just drop the subject.. since I know your opinion and you know mine!! what's the funniest story you want to tell me??is it more animals?? hehe.. sweet dreams Rickie :)
16. Hey Rick!!
Lynne   (01.27.07)
I'm starting to get worried about you Rickie!! are you ok?? I'm not sure why you stopped replying to me.. is it work or are you mad at my last post.. or what?? anyway.. I'm leaving to university tom. Best wishes..
17. Dear Lynne
Rick ,   Open Range, USA   (01.29.07)
Hi Lynne! I have been very busy trying to get out of our leased building in time. We have to be out on the last day of February (this Wednesday). Also, the ICE STORM did much damage to my church building. It wasn't so bad until it all started melting! Then the "ice dams" forced water into the building. My company has put in a lot of time there helping out. My son took a photo of me chopping out a drift of ice and snow 45 centimeters thick on a very steep slope. We have to be roped off like mountain climbers when we do this. We helped as many people as we could. And yes, I am offended by your post #15. I am at a loss of how to respond. I am not the one who brought up the subject of the media. You did. You even asked for my opinion. In times past, when you ask for my opinion on some subject, and I give it to you, you then go ballistic!! So this time, I didn't really give my true opinion. I watered it down and made it as generic as possible to avoid another one of your angry posts. That didn't matter to you! How would you have reacted if I gave you my true feelings on this subject?! How do I talk to you about really important issues? When did "America attack Lebanon", for crying out loud??! If you truely believe we have attacked Lebanon, you really are steeped in propaganda. Your arguments are always very one sided, yet you expect me to give a listening ear to this one-sidedness. If you are not willing to discuss the short comings of your own people, I am not interested in listening to you point out the short comings of mine. Honey, you ain't no fun at all when you're mad! Okay, okay, maybe you were not mad. Maybe you were something else... I don't know. Tell me, what is your new university like? Tonight, we took the time to go to a "big band" concert hosted by my church. Oh, my God! It was unbelieveable!! The crowd did not want it to end!! Just incredable "feel good" music and singing!! Wow! We had not heard this orchestra before, but immediately booked them to come again!! It's late, and I have more to do. So, good night for now, and good luck at school.
18. Dearest Rickie..
Lynne   (01.29.07)
oh!! so you are mad at me!! one more time we are incapable of carrying out a discussion.. I did expect to anger you with what I wrote but I believe that you should know what I think of US policies regarding the ME.. not because I'm Lynne but because I'm one of those Arabs and Muslims involved in wars with you.. I have told you many times before that your opinion does not anger me.. replying to you with something you don't like to hear does not mean that I'm mad at you. for me you represent the neo-conservatives of the US in whose policies we are affected.. your responses do not surprise me.. and I wouldn't change my opinions just to have you enjoy reading what I write.. if you have a problem reading my posts then this is YOUR problem and not mine.. I don't think we'll ever get anywhere if we stay unable of accepting one anothers views.. we both want peace then we should BOTH work on it.. when did America attack Lebanon?? in July!! the US refused Israel's pleas to stop the war after the first few days.. Rice stated openly that the war on Lebanon is a beginning of the "New ME".. let alone the fact that the US is the provider of Israeli weapons.. Wow!! all that snow!! you should have a layer of sponges on your roofs!! LOL!! no one's fun when he/she is mad!! my university is fine.. :( It's in another city.. and I'm already starting to miss hom sweet home!! yesterday I arrived late so I had to sleep in a stinking room!! it was a horrible night!! I'll go home now and return on Saturday!! Yipeee!! hehehe.. attending a concert twice!! hehe.. it must be really something!! have fun.. how's your work going? will you be finished on time?? how's z mexico plan going?? ok busy Rickie.. I've got to get myself ready to go home now.. I've had my luggage packed and ready to go since 7 in the morning!! hehe.. Goodbye & Good Luck.
19. Dear Lynne
Rick   (01.29.07)
LOL! It is really something how you can twist events to fit your own idealology! Your claim of US attacking Lebanon is just stupid. In your mind you have legitimized Hezbullah drawing first blood by attacking and killing Israelis on Israeli land, and capturing prisoners for negotiations. Nazrallah and Senioia knew full well what would happen when they did this because it was already happening in Gaza. When the ISRAELIS responded with fire, oh how your side cryed! To me this was laughable! If you don't want a war, don't pick one! For me, your last post legitimizes everything we have done to stop the radicalization within Islam. You, yourself have been radicalized. You say I am a pro-Israeli neo-con? LOL! I am pro-Christian. I want radicalized Muslims to stop persecuting poor Christians in lands like Nigeria and Indonesea, and everywhere else in between. Your constant statement that this is done by a tiny minority is just pure denial of the facts. It is true what is said about Arab muslims. You can't bear to accept responsibility for your own problems so you blame them on someone else. And the someone else who is you favorite whipping dog is my country.
20. Hey Lynne!!
Rick ,   Open Range, USA   (02.09.07)
I found a new web-site you should see! http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/
21. Rick..
Lynne   (02.12.07)
Thanks for remembering me with that website!! you can run around happily with your hateful websites.. you create your own fabricated lies and then you laughably start applauding for yourselves!! think as you wish Richard.. nothing I say will ever convince you as long as it doesn't suit your interests.. you were hoping that since I was mentioning peace that I'm a Muslim who hates her religion.. (like your friend Nonie Darwish).. since you think that Muslims are those terrorist monsters who are hoping to rule your world one day!! due to what you believe to be a religious committment you thought that I would probably start to satisfy you by telling you of dramatic stories were I'm "suffering" as a Muslim woman and that I wish to convert!! to your disappointment this was not the case.. I was very interested in listening to you explain about Christianity because I happen to have so much respect towards Christianity and Judaism (because my Prophet (PBUH) whom you hate taught me to).. I think you misunderstood the reason of my will to know more about your mentality as an American Christian.. I'm not here to tell you that your wrong and I'm right.. I never expected you to agree with me and I have made this clear from the very beginning but I definitely was expecting to discuss my point of view with you without being insulted.. but unfortunately you call me stupid.. radicalized.. if I was a radical I would have stopped replying to you from a very long time ago.. since you have never hesitated in providing me with links that only speak volumes of hatred.. although I (the terrorist.. radical..) never once asked you to visit a webpage or listen to someone insulting your religion or your country out of my respect to your feelings and beliefs.. all I do is give you reasons why I think I'm right and you get so mad!! either I agree to all that you say or else I'm stupid!! anyway... I would not like to insult you and I wouldn't like to listen to you insulting me either so I guess we have come back to were we have started.. we always seem to stop at the same point.. criticising the policies your government adopts is creating an obstacle which is very difficult to overcome.. so I think I'd rather stop here than argue with you any further..
22. Dear Lynne, part 1
Rick ,   Open Range, USA   (02.14.07)
First let me begin by expressing to you my sincere regret that you are insulted by my opinion that your opinion was stupid. It was not my intention to hurt your feelings or make you want to stop writing. Time and time again you have encouraged me to give you my opinions on subjects saying you will not get angry, only to read an "angry" response by you. You say you are not angry in these responses, just expressing your opinion. If you are not angry, why do you use such angry words to express yourself? Some of your "opinions" have been downright attacks on things I hold dear. Like the Iraqis trying to tear down a bronze statue of Saddam with hand tools, like sledge hammers. When American troops saw them and came to their aid, and they responded with great joy, it gave us such great hope that this would be the path of the future. Iraqis and Americans working together, rectifying old injustices with new cooperation. To me this was one of the highlights of our efforts there. These Iraqis are my heros! You called them nuts. When I finally complained that I was offended, your reply was "this is YOUR problem and not mine..." If you are going to be this insensitive to my beliefs, why should I care if you are offended also? You wanted to hear my opinion.. you got it, unvarnished. Arab women: My intention of giving you web-sites to see Arab women in American media was to encourage you in your pursuit of journalism. After listing Bridgitte Gabrel, I told you I was embarrassed. I looked at her site from your perspective. Noni Darwish... to this day I can't understand your hostility toward her! It doesn't matter. Web-sites: In showing you web-sites illistrating the persecution of Christians I wanted to enlist your help in stopping the violence. In no uncertain terms will I apologize for this. I want the violence stopped. That is the entire reason I am on Ynet, and other sites as well. Christianity went thru a period of violence, we learned our lesson. It is time the Muslim world did the same. Part 2 coming.
23. Dear Lynne, part 2
Rick ,   Open Range, USA   (02.14.07)
Religion: That was the best parts of our talks! Our discussions on religion were wonderful!! It was great fun explaining to you my beliefs, especially Christmas!! Did I want to convert you? Of course!! And if you are honest with me, you will admit you wanted me to become a follower of Muhammad, too. But, I didn't push it like Kathy did. Like you, I believe there is to be no compulsion in religion. I told you there were parts of Islam I admired. You were going to explain the importance of Eid to me when Saddam was hung. Then you went nuts! That leads me to... Incitement & radicalization: You have stated many times that the ME is ready to explode. I can see it coming. It is amazing to me how easily the Arab masses are incited into mass hysteria! Or, mass anger, if you will. The cartoon protests, Saddam's hanging, and now the Mugrabi Bridge construction, just to name a few. In college it was called "mass hypnosis", also know as "group think". I see your leaders using it. I see you coming under it's power. Hate: Dear Lynne, do you really think there is even a single molecule in my body that hates you? I have many strong feelings for you Lynne, but hate is not one of them. After reading your talkbacks #15 and 18, it occured to me that if we were next-door neighbors, we really would not talk much to each other. We would be cordual and neighborly, of course. But, we would avoid any real discussions about politics, religion, or world events to keep the peace between us. I agree with you. The time has come to end our discussions. Except for the arguments, it has been wonderful! I really enjoyed it. I still think you are a sweet lady (when you want to be, LOL!) Thank you for your time. I really have learned a lot from you. You got to learn more about the western mindset, too. Good luck & goodbye. Your friend, Rick
24. Dearest Rickie!!!
Lynne   (02.14.07)
Ah!! I told you I'm a wimp!! I couldn't not write back to you!! every time I'm mad I decide that I will no more write to Rick but eventually I couldn't not reply!! I admit that sometimes I'm too harsh but usually I write back right away after reading your posts which sometimes anger me.. (especially the site you had recommended in #20) there are a thousand sites that share this propaganda about Muslims who are terrorists. violent.. etc.. on the other hand there are also a thousand sites that share propaganda about Christians and Americans specifically.. I wouldn't look at such a site and ask you to see it. because recommending it means that it represents my beliefs.. you keep on telling me that you were embarrassed for telling me about Brigitte Gabriel.. although I'm glad that you had told me how good a friend she is to you and how much you agree with her.. it gave me a very good picture of your mentality regarding Muslims.. No, I never tried or even thought of converting you to Islam.. because first of all it's neither my aim nor my job to convert people.. and because I don't think that what we need at the moment is more Muslims.. I think we should improve the quality of life and thinking of the Muslims we already have.. there are around one and a half billion Muslims and most of them are below the line of poverty.. most of them are living in third world countries.. most of them are lacking education.. so I'm more interested in reforming the lives of those than in having a religious Christian convert!! and another reason is because I appreciate Christians, Jews and Muslims who understand their religions and follow them.. I believe religion is there to control our instincts.. i.e. to make us more humane.. when you and Catherine were explaining Christianity I did realize that you are trying to convert me (maybe Cathy was a bit more pushy LOL!!) and I truly enjoyed it.. you made me understand things I was always wondering about.. ex. the Trinity, your belief why Jesus(PBUH) was crucified.. and I didn't mind your telling me about the Christians who are persecuted in our countries.. in fact I'm glad you told me.. from everything you told me I think this was the most important part.. I have been asking and searching through this and I saw that it is true.. very sad and shameful though.. I had a discussion with one of my Professors regarding this matter.. and it turns out those incidents do happen but are never mentioned! I promise to work on this one day.. Mass hysteria-- I agree that many times Muslims might act violently in protests.. I think this has a lot to do with the undisciplined education that starts in our schools and homes.. but also I would take in consideration the fact that the cartoons picturing Prophet Mohammad (PBUH), the Mughrabi Gate bridge construction and Saddam's execution that you have mentioned were effective incidents where protests are the natural response.. violence occurred in the protests for the cartoons only as far as I know.. in the Mughrabi Gate bridge construction the protests only turned violence when IDF attacked those protesting inside Al-Aqsa Mosque.. and I don’t think you could throw the blame on Muslims for protesting while ignoring the provocations they face.. Eventually, yes, I do think we have tackled so many issues.. we have discussed things we wouldn’t usually discuss in our daily lives.. we have both learnt a lot.. and I do think I’m a sweet lady.. LOL!! Just kidding.. I know I could turn horrible sometimes.. but only sometimes.. oops!! I have a lecture now I’m late!! Have a nice day!!
25. Sweet Lynne!
Rick ,   Open Range, USA   (02.15.07)
Yeah, I am a whimp too! No Lynne, there are not a thousand web-sites against Christians and Americans. There are over five thousand! I have not a clue how many anti Mulsim/ Arab web-sites there are. This shows how much all of us want to learn the truth about what is going on and how easily the truth can be distorted. Your last post was very nice. A pleasure to read. Many times there are events happening around us we have no control over. Yet, when we talk to each other about it, it is easy to be put on the defensive. Right now I have a problem to deal with here at home. Many roofers are out of work due to all the ice and snow and are asking for my help . This is the 10th snowiest year on record! (It is all that damn Global Warming!! Ha ha!) Susie is also sick and needs my attention. So, I need to take a break. I am going to be gone for one week. I be back on February 22nd. I'll see you then!
26. Lynne, URGENT CALL!!
Rick ,   Open Range, USA   (02.15.07)
Hey Lynne!! My son has asked me to see if you can help him. I guess I will not take a break after all!! One of the guys he played football in college with was in Afghanistan working for a contracting company. On his way home, he was arrested in Dubai Airport for having a knife and some "substance" in a foil pouch in one of his bags. He was arrested on suspicion of illegal drugs. His name is Danny Talbert. My son, Matt, and Danny's family swear he would never use drugs! Of course, he could have tried something while away from home in Afghanistan, so, from here we don't know the truth. His family is having a hard time getting any information. All they know is that Danny was transfered to a prision for violent criminals and they fear for his safety. Could you help us? Is there anyone you could introduce us to for more information?

Please let me know what happens.. and if you know of a person or a department that I should contact then let me know.. I hope he'll be fine.. what's wrong with Susie? hope she gets better soon too..

Thank you very much for the US Consulate's number!! I will forward it on to Danny's family. It is good news that his urine test came back clean! The last I heard, a company representative was there trying to talk to Danny. Their visit was cut short by the prison guards, so the company rep. didn' t get enough information. HIs family has called many elected officals here in the States trying to get help. The last I heard, the Congressman from their home congressional district is looking into it. What is wrong with Susie? She was irradiated by nuclear fallout as a small child. She had cancer when she was 32 and was healed, but, it greatly damaged her auto-immune system. She does not fight off infections and illnesses like normal people do. Anything can "knock her for a loop"! So, we all have to be careful not to bring home anything like a head cold, etc. There have been many times I have been exposed to something contageous while at work, only to stay away for a few days to make sure she does not get it! All of this has been componded by her also developing an allergy to the nutrient called "gluten". It is also an auto-immune disorder. As a deases, it is called "Ciliac Spru". Gluten is found in wheat, oats, rye, and barley. We now have a diet that avoids all those foods. It is hard to do because gluten is used as a thickening agent in almost everything!! It really isn't so bad. We eat a lot of Mexican and American Indian dishes made with maize (corn) because their diet was founded on New World foods instead of Old World foods. We also eat a lot of rice as a subsitute for wheat. We make our own bread out of things like almond flour. Flours can also be made from beans, rice, sorgrum (yummy!), buckwheat, and many other plants and grains. I had to give up beer, so, now I make my own wine and punches! Right now she has a nasty head cold from our grandbaby! Most people will fight off a head cold in one week of less. Susie has had this for three weeks with no end in sight. Please trust me when I tell you this. I deal with the aftermath of nuclear radiation fallout everyday. It is not something you want to expose your loved ones to. Thanks again for the telephone number!! I will keep you posted as I learn about Danny's situation!

you're welcome!! I think someone must have given them the number by now though since they have contcted some officials in the US.. Susie must be really suffering!! .. I hope she gets better soon.. this is what we humans do all the time.. ruin God's beautiful creation.. I would not like to deal with any nuclear radiation neither would I like anyone else to deal with it.. I realise how destructive it is.. I think nuclear weapons should be restricted in ALL countries.. unfortunately what's happening now is just the opposite .. everyone wants nukes!! I don't think traditional weapons will be used in the next war.. it will be a nuclear war..and this is mad!! it's a good thing Susie healed from cancer.. even though she is less immune now.. since it isn't something new for you I think all of you are very accustomed to this lifestyle.. and by the way, I think a gluten free diet is healthier for all of you!! so you should be thanking Susie for her allergy!! hehe.. speaking of punches.. did you make your 2007/2008 collection of "Cherry Christmas Punch"??? :) and are you still going to Mexico in March?? and yes, please do update me regarding Danny Talbert!! I feel very sorry for his family.. there's always this problem of parents never expecting that their own child could be a victim of drugs.. they always exclaim "it couldn't be!! my son/daughter is so good he/she wouldn't do this!!".. I think making such mistakes is not as a result of being good or bad.. but it has more to do with their child experimenting with new things in his surroundings..to Danny's misfortune those things turned out to be drugs!! I hope this would turn out to be nothing but a lesson to be learnt.. send my regards to Susie.. I hope she recovers very soon.. Have a lovely day!!

I am sorry to be so late to get back to you. We had some computer problems to correct! I have not started my next batch of Cherry Christmas Punch yet. Too busy with the move and everything! I only have two bottles left that are now two years old. I am going to enter them into a competition in September! If we ever get around to addresses, I will send you a bottle of my next batch! Maybe I can send it to the U.S. Embassy in the UAE and you can pick it up! No news yet from Danny's family. Susie's health has become a real "health maintenence" item. It is something we have to work on everyday. But, God is so good to us! He will always provide the way, just like He has done so many times before!! I decided to back out of the Mexico trip. Too much to do here with the aftermath of the ice storm. Too many people need me here! The youth and their sponsors are still going. It is great to see them prepare for it! I can actually see some of them maturing right before my eyes!! Tell me, how is the new school you are going to? Is it what you expected? And you haven't told me about your trip home yet!! How is the family?
