3. Who else must shoulder the blame?
First of all, let me say that my love for Israel and her people is undeniable. However, those who voted for Olmert and the Kadima Party must also be held responsible. Not only those who voted for them, but those who stayed home and did not vote at all. Nobody gets put into office without being voted in. Jews were drunk and in a euphoric state with the promise of a new direction of Kadima. For every family thrown out of their house, for every citizen killed or injured by qassams, and for every solider that was injured or killed in this summers war is the fault of those who voted for Kadima, or for those who stayed home and did nothing at all. We in America were shocked at the election results. You have let your government bring shame upon what was a great, fierce fighting, non-afraid nation. You need to get guttsied up on the inside and vote these cowards out of office before he gives the whole land away. A shrewd general would've seen the trap that was being set for Olmert. He gladly jumped into it with both feet, and is dragging the rest of Israel with him. Shake yourselves off and get back in the fight before it's to late. Shalom

4. 15 years of peace negotiations
Q. After all these years, why can Israel not even find a Palestinian who will legitimately negotiate for peace? A. Because if they do sign a real peace treaty that recognizes Israel it contradicts the Quran, and the Hadith of Islam. To sign such a document recognizing Israel will result in the same outcome as Sadat from Egypt. Never never never will they sign a peace agreement. So live with it. When they strike, make them wish they had not.

5. syrian peace overtures, irish peace
im irish, we had similar wars as isreal ha had, on a smaller scale of course, based on nationalism and religion. nothing good will ever happen to isreali's unless they continue to fight for the middle ground,. irish people can be as hardheaded and ideological and bitter as anyone, but there seems to be some peace there now after centuries of conflict only because they sat down with their adversary. why not talk!? you think america would stand idly by if you were unnecessarily attacked? what have you got to lose? usa backed you 100% in the lebanon fight. go chat away with these people for god sakes. your hard line just puts everyone off. so what if you look weak, even if you did, america would back you up if you were provoked again. just because our idiot president doesnt believe in diplomacy doesnt mean you shouldn't. i have no idea why our president will not chat with the iranians or syrians. we talked everyday with the soviets way back when, and they were far more dangerous. i just think that not negotiating for fear of looking weak is stupid, because the usa has clearly shown, i think, that we would back isreal in any major provocation. and for all the blood shed, the simple fact is the muslim world loses every single time in every single engagement in every corner of the world. they never ever ever ever win. its just ridiculous! ethiopia just walked through somalia like is was a trip through the tulips! on every front, from chechnya to china to iraq and afghanistan, yugoslavia, you name it, these people get creamed every single time. we stuck Lybia in the eye in the 80's. just because they score points for awful civilian kills doesnt show these people know how to win a war. this might be the worst war fighting culture in the history of mankind. I mean, my god, the last time they beat anyone was in afghanistan against the soviets , but with usa backing. they are winning in iraq now only because a complete dunderhead is running the most powerful nation on earth. the gigantic persian empire is ancient history. if anything, i think its a good time to negotiate with the muslim world because they are in fact at their weakest. they hardly have enough energy for the fight amongst themselves. the next usa prez is going to shut the iraq disaster down, and hopefully then turn all energy to rebuilding the military. there will be no appetite for more foriegn adventures for a while. the 9/11 adrenaline rush is over. so, not only is it a good time to talk because the muslims are in disarray, fighting themselves, but also because the usa needs a breather for a while. i think the usa can still surge up in the event of a disaster, but there wont be a lot of energy for anything more than that.

7. one politician to go!
I , as a Syrian, still don't understand what are Israelis waiting for?
I mean apparently half of the Israeli cabinet support talks with Syria, our president Assad offered peace talks for more than three times already.
some of the commentators are complaining about Sadat and the peace he brought, could you tell me from Israel's point of view, what is wrong with the peace with Egypt?
to #4, man what are you talking about? who told you thats what it says in our Quran? either read the original arabic version or get someone to translate it for you coz i dont trust the english one.
and just to let you know, it says, in the end Jews are going to rule the world, so you have nothing to worry about :P

9. Olmert --a job may be waiting for you
A high school buddy of mine is the president of a large eastern US university. I am going to ask him to help
us Jews get Olmert out of Israel: I will
inquireof him whether it is possible to establish the Olmert Chair of Woodworking at the university. Of course, no power tools would be permitted. As for Mme. Livni, I will ask my boyhood friend whether it would be possible to rid Israel of her as well, by establishing the Livni Chair
in Home Economics. Of course, only hand-powered mixers and treadle sewing machines would be permitted. This would be the perfect
make-work for these two moron/schlemazls.

10. My Friend Tarek, we are waiting for you to stop killing us!
Your president cald for peace in the same breath in which he called for our destruction. Syria shelters and funds the heads of Hamas, Islamic Jihad, Hizbulah, the PLO, and all the other groups that are trying to destroy us, and you cannot deny it. Oh, and there is a great deal wrong with our peace with Egypt. Egypt is also a base for Hamas and most of its weaponry is coming from Egypt. The Sinai has turned into an enormous terror-base, which the Egyptians periodically raid for show. Our peace treaty with Egypt hasallowed those in Egypt who seek our destruction to back terror groups without our being able to retaliate. hat is exactly what Assad wants, he wants to be able to fund his terrorist friends without our having the right to punish him for t. And as an added bonus he wants the Golan heights (land which we acquired in a legitimate defensive war) so that His rockets will be able to reach further into our territory.
And finally, if we were assume that by some strange chance your president has completely changed over the past few eeks and trully will give us peace in exchange for the Golan we still could not agree, because Israel is tiny and without llies and every bit of land i precious to us, and if one day your peace-maker presidictator is deposed and his succesor decdes to attack us again the Golan may be all that stands between us and detruction.
