But one only has to look at the burning of five christian churches in the west bank, and the PA's treatment of minority Christians in Bethlehem and Nazareth to understand that both the PA, Fatah and Hamas should be severely condemned for their treatment of minorities.

I think the English is quite clear is what they want. Lets not forget they dont even know what "historical Palestine" is. Is the translation accurate? Is Hamas now asking ONLY for EAST Jerusalem? The inference one would draw is that it's prepared to let somebody else, i.e., Israel, have West Jerusalem. If this is true, it's a implicit recognition of Israel's right to exist and to have West Jerusalem.
