You're right about Cyrus. He, actually, came up with a very enlightened Bill of Rights. Too bad that Ahmadinejad is not looking to him as an example. I can't find my shoes or car keys half the time, but I remember ancient history. I agree with you on some points, BUT, as you probably know, Israel has one of the best inteligence services in the world. They see and know a lot of things we don't. The CiA is also watching everything closely. We already know that Iran funds and trains Hezballah, a terror group, right? We know that Iran gives weapons to Syria which are then funneled to terror groups. We know that Iran sends insurgents into Iraq to kill American soldiers and innocent civilians, and to create chaos, right? You cannot ignore or deny any of these facts. I think the level of paranoia we see is too much, but we should be vigilant and aggressive when dealing with Iran, or else we will send them the wrong messege....one of weakness. As a frequent visitor to Israel over the past 20 years it is so sad to see how so much of the country is succumbing to terrible hatred and racism. Iranians are not monsters and have, through democratic means, already curtailed much of Ahmadinejad's influence in the recent elections. Iranians are concerned with jobs, education and the economy, not with nuclear war. For Israelis to openly call for the destruction of another people based on nothing more than a supposition is truly a betrayal of Israel's heritage.

I'm sorry if you missed the last two years but we have seen some interesting things coming out of Iran. 1. funding and support of hezbullah (a terror group) which hopes to destroy Israel.. 2. support for insurgency into Iraq, killing innocent people and US troops. 3., Advancement of a nuclear program which is not transparent to the international gaurd dog. 4.
