2. Olmert loyal IDF is against the ceasfire
Hi-Fi   (01.04.07)
Army officials make it clear they are against the gov't policy, this is conveyed by all military correspondents and analists in Israel. At the first week of the weak ceasfire IDF killed one militant, one man and one woman... then I stopped counting. The IDF is trying to undermine the truce policy and would be interested in a neverending conflict. It should be realized how many people are making living from this war, some of them write in the WND !
3. Why the fuss?
Ehud Olmert ,   Kuwait City   (01.04.07)
I HAVE declared Fatah to be the moderate ones. They could be shooting at me Allah forbid
4. Fatah is not any better than Hamas
Suzanne   (01.04.07)
Why is there no good alternative for the Palestinians but can they only choose between one or the other maffia gang?
5. Everyone Knew This Except Olmert
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (01.04.07)
As if no one had a clue, right? It seems only our gov't still remains clueless. So, give them more money, give them guns, why not give them missiles too? Then you can give Abbas another kiss & put the terrorist flag up in your office. Unbelievable!
6. Who is Abbas trying to fool
john ,   nz   (01.04.07)
Loyal to Abbas but he doesn't have authority over them? WTH is he trying to tell us.
7. Rocket Terrorists
Brod ,   USA   (01.04.07)
If the rocket terrorists are Abbas's foot soldiers, Israel should capture and imprison Abbas and all his lieutenants.
8. We will never see the real players
Atilla Karagözoğlu ,   Istanbul   (01.04.07)
When I look at world Leaders or other middle leaders I dont see ANY GREAT VISION. you can feel THE VISION. the other day, I did ask a question to a friend . I said who is your hero leader in 1900's. She/He said Winston Churcill. I think we have real world leaders behind the closed doors. A few people know their names. They got a Vision for creating dead-lock for world peace. Maybe, We are not having world wars but WE ARE NOT HAVING GOOD DAYS ALSO. I give you an example : Two boys in love with a girl. The girl has enough love for two boys. But boys want to have her love alone. can you blame on boys ? what ? you didnt like my example :) we are reader, just reader :) I wish I was single again :( what a beautifull ladies out there. you know what all we need :) yes...you got the point :))))
9. Mazen has no 'authority' over anything and should bow out !
redmike ,   tel aviv & london   (01.04.07)
Abu Mazen is probably making any possible peace process even further away because of his sit on the fence ineffectiveness. He's not helping Israel or Fatach and doing nothing against Hamas. Useless !
10. Continuing Arafat's policy
leon ,   Grand Rapids USA   (01.04.07)
Publicly condemn the murderers, not because they are murderers, but because their action is "counter-productive", and privately support them. Notice that in English, Abbas refers to Israel as Israel, and in Arabic, talking to the Pal public, he refers to them as the "Zionist Enemy". NOTHING's CHANGED !
11. Fatah and Abbas are terrirists too
Hilda ,   USA   (01.04.07)
Someone should remind Olmert and Uncle George and Aunt Condi that Fatah remains a terrorist organization and Abbas is the head , just as Arafat was. They are as much dedicated to the demise of Israel as Hamas or Hizbollah or the Iranian Hitler. The means may be slightly different but the ends are just as deadly. Even after the recent disclosure that the American State department was lying all these years don;t really make zANy differnce does it because it was not a secret which was that secret.
12. olmert peretz
trp   (01.05.07)
While Rome is burning ... May be it is just as well JUST A BIT OF DIVINE PROVIDENCE, The incompetents are doing nothing to defend Israel , therefore a higher power inflicted internecine strife onto the Pals . just as well
