this backfires on El Al and they experience a decline in business from the secular sector of Israeli society. I have always flown the national airline out of a sense of pride, irrespective of the cost. That pride is now lost and I shall avoid flying El Al until they resume flying 7 days a week and act normaly. Because of the dumb strike here about three/four weeks ago, they tried to get us all home for Shabbat and they succeeded. We will continue as religious travellers, with or without chareidim, with or without seculars, to support our own national airline.
