1. Careful with that kind of law!!!
I think, the bill should be extended to make it illegal for anyone to die or become incapacitated without permission. After all, we can't just have people dropping out willy-nillly, leaving others to deal with who knows what. Had there been such a law, my husband, I'm sure, would not have dared to just up and check out for no apparent reason; and on a perfectly good Saturday morning, at that. He messed up my entire week-end, and we simply can't have that sort of thing in civilized society. There has to be order!! My being of German descent, why is there something vaguely familiar about that???? Oh, right! That only had to do with "bloodlines." Exaggeration? Maybe. It's not that far from cholesterol and blood pressure to DNA, looking for heaven knows which "predispositions." Once the genie is out of the bottle, it's hard to get it back in.
