1. France Never Ceases To Amaze Me
David ,   Marietta USA   (01.16.07)
Paris is one of the top US tourist destinations, with an amazing number of daily flights between the US and France. And they hate us! And now Paris is the number one El Al destination in Europe. They hate you even more than they hate us! It makes no sense. (But the food is very good, and the city is magnificent. And by the way, the word "surrender" is a French derivative)
2. David #1 France Largest Jewish Community in Europe
Semsem ,   New York, USA   (01.16.07)
David #1. France has the largest Jewish community in Western Europe. That's why the air traffic is so high.

Not for long, they don't. France won't be there in 20 years for sure, a decade quite possibly. And it will be as Judenrein as Saudi Arabia.
4. Read "Eurabia"
France will become ,   a land of dhimmitude   (01.17.07)

#1: The word "surrender" is actually of the Latin origin... - though it may be VIETNAMESE, too. #3: You'd be surprised how many Jews there are in Saudi Arabia. And France will certainly be there in 20 years... - unless bigots like you bring about its downfall. #4: Never mind; you're too thick to understand anything anyway.
6. Three cheers for El Al & its lounges
Yisraelit ,   LY/TV   (01.17.07)
although Heathrow needs improving( no bathroom facilities/ toilets inside the lounge) JEWISH/KOSHER/ISRAELI - Best and unbeatable combination.
7. Why is it not called the "Mashiach" Lounge?
EL Al Passenger ,   The Galil, Israel   (01.17.07)
Of course, there should be two lounges, one for men and one for women if El Al wants to continue appeasing the Ultra Orthodox. This should apply to First, Business and Coach Classes unless EL AL is considering implementing DOS Class on its flights. It would be interesting to know how EL AL handles the "Ultra Orthodox Man sitting next to women" problem. Maybe Izzy Borovich could inform us? One might ask if EL AL flights are sporting a Torah on board as one of the other airlines is doing.

No to all. We're happy the way things are. Chilos and Chareidos who ain't happy, may look elsewhere. We really, really don't mind.
9. El Al lounge at Paris airport - to Nr 1
Meyer ,   Paris   (01.17.07)
David you know and understand nothing. From the beginning of the second intifada in september 2000 french Jews continued to travel to Israel. They contributed to maintain the israeli tourist industry and prevent hotel closing. In 2005, 310.000 french tourists took a flight to Ben Gourion Airport, i.e. half of the french community. The same from USA would mean three millions tourists. I stay three weeks every year in Israel with my wife.

There's no such thing anywhere in the world as a non kosher El Al lounge. All parve as far as I know, and extremely user friendly.
