Not using their service means nothing to Google. Hurt them where they will feel it. Chances are you made money on it anyway.

I am not at all suprised by these revisionist maps. Google is rabidly to the left and has been apologists for terror from its inception. Attention All Zionists & Those Who Revere The Truth - Dump All Google Stock. IF the zionists control everything anyway, why not exert these powers to destroy our enemies - google included?

(650) 253-0000 Google needs to remember that it's job is not to impose geography but simply to report it as it is on the ground. The media lies again as usual.

Thameen Darby ,   Palestine Jenin   (01.16.07)
I has been using GE since more than a year and I added alot of place marks to it in the Israel/Palestine area. My experience is that GE is not biased against Israel nor against Palestine. GE is a user-generated content. Thus errors and short comings are expected. The examples mentioned in this article are biased as they only point GE's failures when from Israeli perspective. The writer of the article did not bother to look for GE's short comings related to Palestine. It is good of GE that they adhere to the UN accepted boarders. for the UN, all jerusalem is a disputed zone. For Israel to control it is before the end to dispution is occupation. When it comes to racial and hate messages on GE, they are added by users, not by GE. I removed tons of hate messages against the Palestinians. GE is a good thing. Only those who have something to hide get scared of it.

12. But the Temple Mount is Al-Aqsa mosque compound
Palestinian   (01.16.07)
So what is strange in this....? Al-Aqsa mosque including the Dome of the Rock are Islamic sites, and are muslims third holiest sites and are not only Palestinian! It is a Muslim property just like Masjid al-Haram in Mecca is not Saudi... Israel illegaly occupies East Jerusalem. E. Jerusalem is part of the West Bank occupied in 1967... What is strange in this???
13. Shame on Google's creators!
Boycott Google ,   USA   (01.16.07)
Technology and Science should remain objective, but the suck-ups at Google are using them to revise history. Shame on the creators of Google for their continued sucking up to political agendas, first in China and now in Israel. Information technology needs to be regulated by geography and topology, NOT politics!
14. Most Archeological evidence shows that
(01.16.07)
Jerusalem, particularly the Old city, having a strong Arabic heritage... Most things there were built and re constructed by the Arabs... Even things we thought were biblical turned out to be the work of Canaanites. For example, the City of David was there before David... I suggest you people to be more open minded...
15. I hope Google will rectify this mistake since
Roni   (01.16.07)
both Google's co-founders - Sergey Brin and Larry Page are Jewish and Google has extensive business ties to Israel................of course this does not mean that they are actively pro-Israel/pro-Zionist but one can hope they have at least some emotional connection to Israel and the Jewish people
16. ETERNAL City JERUSALEM-The HEART & SOUL of the JEWISH PEOPLE
Linda Rivera ,   New York   (01.16.07)
There NEVER was an Arab country of Palestine. Jerusalem was NEVER the capital of any Arab or Muslim entity. In all of recorded history, Jews are the only people who ever made Israel their nation. Jews have had dominion over Israel for 1,000 years with a continuous presence in the land for 4,000 years. Israel's most famous king, King David founded Jerusalem. For over 3,300 years, Jerusalem has been the Jewish capital. Arab Muslims first started calling themselves "Palestinians" in 1967. When Jordan illegally occupied Jerusalem from 1948-1967, Jordan never sought to make it their capital and Arab leaders did not come to visit. Jerusalem is mentioned 766 times in the Jewish Bible, not once in the Koran. Reigious Jews pray three times a day in the direction of Jerusalem. Jerusalem is mentioned constantly in prayers. Passover Seder ends with: "Next year in Jerusalem!" And at the conclusion of Yom Kippur. Jerusalem is mentioned in the blessings at the end of meals. During Jewish wedding ceremonies, the groom breaks a glass as a sign of mourning of the destruction of the two Temples, accompanied by Psalm 137: "If I forget you, O Jerusalem, may my right hand forget her skill. May my tongue cling to the roof of my mouth if I do not remember you, if I do not exalt Jerusalem above my chief joy." During the First and Second Temple periods, the Temple was the central focus of Jewish life. The First Temple was built by King David's son, King Solomon. Bible, 2 Chronicles 2:4: "Behold, I am about to build a house for the name of the L-RD my G-d, dedicating it to Him, to burn fragrant incense before Him and to set out the showbread continually...on sabbaths and on new moons and on the appointed feasts of the L-RD our G-d, this being required forever in Israel." The One great G-D of the Universe returned Jewish Holy Land and holy places to the Jews in the 1967 Six Day War. In rebellion against G-D, Israeli leaders gave control of Judaism's holiest site, the Temple Mount to Islamist religious supremacists. Opposing the Holy One - Master of the Universe, Israel's police arrest Jews if they pray, or are suspected of praying at the Temple Mount. Israel's leaders flagrantly disobey G-D who commanded in the Bible, Isaiah 56:7 - My house will be called a house of prayer for all the peoples. Islamist control of Jewish land and the holiest site on earth brought death and war to Israel. End the rebellion against G-D! Return control of the Temple Mount to Jews immediately! STOP Inciting Children to Kill ! http://www.teachkidspeace.com/flash.php Islam's archaeological destruction of Judaism's holiest site, the Temple Mount - the holiest place on earth: http://www.har-habayt.org/ http://littlegreenfootballs.com/weblog/pictures/PalestinianChildAbuse

20. Google Earth

If these pictures or maps are ever used for terrorist or Rocket attacks in Israel then this could be a potential legal liability for Google for any damage or deaths
21. #8 is the only well-informed one here
(01.16.07)
If pro-Israel people want to see something different on Google Earth they need to post it themselves. It's not Google that makes up the postings, it the users! So yes lets get pissed at a site that promotes free speech. If you pro-Israel people are pissed, go post something yourself... no one's stopping you!
22. the line should be shifted
john ,   jerusalem   (01.16.07)
google earth shows international border line in red running in middle of jerusalem old city from the north to the south. for GE to be more accurate this line should be shifted half a kilometer to the west including al of the old city in the palestinian part. note: one of the two owners/founders of Google Sergey Brin was born in Russia to a Jewish family. although I am posting this response just for clrification, my usual impression of WND Aaron Klein articles is that they are biased full of s**t.
23. call things by their name
Fadi ,   Lebanon   (01.16.07)
when you control the borders ,the water, and the airspace ..it is called a prison . Israel has an element of selfdistructive ,not by their neighbors ..but by their leaders .
24. #19 but Gaza controls underground space!
Kyle ,   Southpark, CO, USA   (01.16.07)
They have all those tunnels for smuggling weapons and kidnapping.
25. Google to blame?
mike ,   israel   (01.16.07)
google is not to blame, if anyone is to blame it starts with the day Moshe dayan made his bullshit claim har habayit byadeinu the temole mount is in our hands and then proceeded to give it over to the wakf. The blame continues with each succeeding gvt that failed to show Israeli sovereignty over the temple Mount. The blame continues to this very day to the Olmert Gvt. that is trying to give Jewish land away as if at a fire sale Google just called it like it sees it. Shame on us to dare claim it as ours when a Jew may not even walk in the permissible places with a prayer book , Shame on us that a Jew is forbidden to move his lips in prayer there! The blame is upon us for electing cowardly knesset members and perfidious police who deny us the right to what is rightfully ours not google!
26. To #12 Palestinian
Ironcandle ,   Atlanta, GA   (01.16.07)
And what is the mosque sitting on? Did you ever look over the side and notice that huge block wall? That big wall is much older than the Mosque. What does that tell you?
27. Google Earth also trashes Shilo
JP ,   NJ, USA   (01.17.07)
It states that Shilo is 28 years old, and that "Settlers" occupy this "Arab land". Shilo was founded thousands of years ago and still bears the same name (look it up it the Bible). The Holy Ark was housed there for 369 years, and yet, where were the Arabs? This is what should be the link on Google Earth's site: http://www.shilo.org.il/index.htm
28. no more gmail, google news or anything google
ex google user   (01.17.07)
29. UN: Not disputed but Pali territories
A Bethlehemite   (01.17.07)
the rest of the world including the UN consider the 67 territories including East J'lem as Palestinian territories. The only true thing in this article is "Google Earth states it demarcates its maps according to international standards" And no nation in the world consider E. J'lem or any of the '67 territories as part of Israel. http://www.un.org/apps/news/story.asp?NewsID=10650&Cr=middle&Cr1=east http://domino.un.org/UNISPAL.NSF/9a798adbf322aff38525617b006d88d7/e29f7195c53cdda905256729005035e4?OpenDocument&Highlight=2,ES-10%2F6 AND Gaza is still Israeli occupied. It is not sovereign and Israel still controls the airspace, sea shores, borders and point of entry and exit etc
30. thank you google
Mike ,   San Francsico, USA   (01.17.07)
it makes no sense for people to complain about this and throw around accusations. everyone knows that East Jerusalem is part of the occupied West Bank, and whether the Israelis like it or not, the Old City of Jerusalem in its entirety lies to the east of the Green Line. google is simply stating the facts.
