1. Hysteria
Jono ,   Oz   (01.18.07)
I haven't seen much evidence of hysteria. no doubt there are some vultures circling and early signs of Peres dementing.
2. Why doesn't Peres resign, too?
The Perescope ,   Ramat Aviv, Israel   (01.18.07)
Far more people were killed as a result of his disasterous Oslo Accords than were killed during the Second Lebanon War. So if Halutz was forced to accept responsibility and resign, why shouldn't Peres be held responsible for his debacle?
3. Mr. Peres' Dream Brings Despair
Marcel ,   Florida   (01.18.07)
A leader who like President Bush assumed to tame radical Islam by way of the democratic process have both proven to be wrong . Their arrogance prohibits them from admitting that they were WRONG,and so the people's and the nation of Israel suffer for their foolish delusion's and nightmare dreams. Israel, you must first DEFEAT your enemy ,and then you will have peace. The Peres Quartet ,Olmert,Bush Road Map will never bring real peace to Israel. Its based on lies and delusion
4. SHIMON PERES GET OUT OF THAT CHAIR
bentham ,   singapore   (01.18.07)

Althogh i dont subscribe to Mr Peres pipe dreams about the Arab Israeli conflict,I do appreciate his remarks on the Halutz resignation. He is right about our internal power and resourcefulness. Enough wailing and on to the task at hand, which is learning from successes and mistakes, and preparing for the future. Now ,Mr Peres needs to apply the same wisdom to the Pali-Israeli conflict, and learn from HIS past mistakes. Like the great poet Meir Ariel said "AVARNU ET PAROH...NAAVOR GAM ET ZE"
6. the jews must learn to appreciate their blessings
goldycob ,   Accra Ghana   (01.18.07)
I have seen something in the Jews that baffle me. They are destructively fearful of the international opinion. And pardon me to say that most of these nations too are bias. They war with their wicked enemies as if it is a gulf came. I believe it is time they stopped being so sensitive in the middle of the hell around them. I also believe they should learn to much the tone of their wicked enemies!
7. MOSES SAID: THOSE ON 'GDs' SIDE STAND WITH ME
TORAH IS OVER THERE ,   WHERE IS OLMERT?   (01.18.07)
ALL THE GREAT ISRAELI WARS WERE WON WITH PRYAERS TORAH AND THE RABBIS . BE A KING DAVID AND BE VICTORIOUS AGAIN IN ALL MATTERS. ____________ DACON9
8. I hereby resign
Shimon Peres   (01.18.07)
HaHa just kidding. Like I would ever put the needs of the State over my own ego
9. IRAN, PALISTINIANS, HEZBOLLAH CONTINUE TO BE THE REAL CRISES
DAVID P ,   USA   (01.18.07)
10. End of crisis ?
Sagi ,   Israel   (01.18.07)
No Sir, Mr. Peres. Only when Peretz goes and Olmert goes. And even then it will only be the beginning of the end. The end will be in sight only when the political system undergoes a radical change, not cosmetic, and we have a Government of non corrupt, dedicated members who will be worthy of bearing the title Minister. The present system must be uprooted and a new one planted, one that suits the People of this Nation and not the politicians. If all this is not implemented the crisis will deepen. This is my guarantee
11. Get this guy into a home ASAP....

Jeremy ,   Upper Galilee   (01.18.07)
Maybe Peres wants the job? He keeps trying to get elected or given different jobs. But he will lose this one too, because he is a loser that needs to retire.
13. ?????Shimon Peres?????
Manny ,   NY, USA   (01.19.07)
Is this man still alive? I thought he died around 10 years ago. Look at his photo...the man IS dead I tell you. (On the other hand, most Israeli politicians are brain dead, so one can never know for sure.)
