2. and the Mullahs will run if Iran attacked
lydia ,   Brisbane, Australia   (01.20.07)
..and the Americans will be hailed as heroes and liberators and greeted with cheers, and flowers as a greatfull people show their appreciation....
3. Iranian and Iraqi exiles are the dummest I have seen!
Palestinian   (01.20.07)
Iranian exiles should learn from what happened in Iraq. Just asking the US to screw up your country will not help much...! I do not know why Americans even listen to rubbish people like these and endanger the lives of their soldiers for worthless people!
4. There you go again!
Ari ,   Jerusalem   (01.20.07)
The New Eyad Alawi of Iran!
5. the true face of iran
Yisraeli   (01.20.07)
inspite of what muslims here would say against Amir and what he says. Amir talks truth. muslim armchair generals are afraid what he has to say because he busts their myths of grandeur. Its a known fact that the iranian majority see this backward incompetent 7th century regime for what they are. they dont want it but afraid to speak up and with good reason. But when and if attacked they will seize the opportunity knowing they have outside backing to be rid of these vermin who run the country. I hope for the worlds sake that the USA will listen and follow Amirs advice.
6. Amir Abbas Fakhr-Avar
(01.20.07)
Amir Abbas Fakhr-Avar is apparently a last surviving of the trashy shah regime. another jalabi for the USA to rely on his theories.
7. Iran
madeleine7 ,   Spain   (01.20.07)
I think this young man has his finger on the pulse. Don`t decry him so easily.
8. Stand Up To Ayatollahs
Terry ,   Eilat - Israel   (01.20.07)
The fanatic Ayatollahs are just counting on threats & intimidation but the regime is fragile. They've made a mess of the economy & the more they fail, the more dangerous they become. A military strike is the only way to effect a regime change.
9. Iran Mullahs keep power with help of Evin Prison
Alan ,   SA   (01.20.07)
10. Stop dreaming!!
masoud ,   London   (01.20.07)
I think the only people who ever listen to the opposition personalities or groups outside Iran are the media who are desperate to get some attention, quite honestly no one knows the people you think are big players and the voices of the Iranian nation and you're ignorant about the mentality and the needs of the Iranian nation.
11. yes, the people will rise up against oppressors if removed
mike ,   israel (formerly usa   (01.20.07)
just like the iraqis did in iraq. talk is cheap and there is every indication that the iranians will resist the great satans. after all, they're muslim (and we know how that goes).
12. Another dirty Traitor
John ,   Toronto   (01.20.07)
No matter how you look at it, this guy is another dirty traitor. We have seen his kind through out history, and him siding with the US against Iran doesnt make him right, no matter how bad the Iranian regime is (which is not the case). You guys might not want to listen to this because Iran is an enemy of Israel, but you have to start looking at your enemies in general with a neutral eye. Respect them for what they have acheived. I am not asking you to like them, but I've noticed that its an israeli way to just under estimate any one who is an enemy or who criticizes Israel. The shah regime was a disaster in Iran, you might not agree with the Islamic revolution but you can't deny that it was very needed back then. At least Iran now is a true democracy, and if ynet is trying to make us feel sad because this guy went to jail for 4 years .. guess what.. by laws in every country in this world this guy would've been executed or put in prison for life. Thats the international punishment for treason. !!! and this guy is nothing but a traitor.
13. iran a true democracy... just like egypt...
aaron ,   ra'anana   (01.20.07)
and palestine, and jordan, and syria, and kuwait... yep, a true democracy pericles would be proud. he would give ayatollah khameni a big hug :)
14. #12
rod ,   Fargo N.Dakota USA   (01.20.07)
I guess Cindy Sheehan should be executed as a traitor since her visits in venezuala, cuba and a host of other countrys.Btw when was the last U.S. citizen ,Canadian or Citizen of the U.K. executed for treason.
15. #12 your a putz
Keith ,   NY,USA   (01.20.07)
I guess all the people from Germany back during WW2 that spoke up against Hitler were traitors too, huh? I guess all those Somalians who are speaking out against their Islamic oppressors are traitors too. You need to engage your brain before your mouth, then maybe you will say somthing a little more intelligent. These people are more aware of what they are suffering than you see on CNN. Oh, and by the way... Amahddidnogood did more than critisize Isreal, he threatens them to wipe them off the map when he has the means. Let me here what you have to say if my government starts using words like that about Canada. I bet you would think differently...fool.
16. tO: Freeman, Palestinian, Anonymous nr. 6, et al.
leon ,   Grand Rapids USA   (01.20.07)
Black is white. Up is down. All tha matters is that Our opposition drown In our blather...that's what's right.

18. #12 what planet R U from?!?!?!
jerome ,   basalt, co   (01.20.07)
it must be planet ignoance, or most likely palnet dumn & stupid.
19. #12 John yea john lol
Yisraeli   (01.20.07)
"Iran now is a true democracy" LOL who are you trying to kid? as I said these muslim armchair generals who probably reside in the west with freedom will be the first support these mullahs who deny freedom to their own citizens. freakin backward no mattter where they live, so whats new?
20. fragile regime
Mike ,   USA   (01.20.07)
From the young Iranians I have known and yes they lived there and visit every few years, say the military is run by a bunch of fools, the young people are as western as can be, and most educated and middle class people there want to have real democracy. Ask the people of Isfahan or even Tehran they wouldnt weep if the city of Qom were wiped off the map. Thats where all the crazy religious people come from.
21. LOST IRANIAN
MAHMOOD ,   LONDON-UK   (01.20.07)
How much were you paid for this interview,Amirabbas?
22. Iran- overthrow the mullah yourself
KM ,   USA   (01.20.07)
If the Iranians really want to break free from the Mullah's yoke, they have to do it themselves. Saddam's yoke was removed and there was no gratitude. So the h--- with them and everyone in the Middle East, except of course Israel
23. yes give them the means , but they do it themselves
rachel ,   usa   (01.20.07)
24. This guy is BOGUS
Guy From NYC ,   NYC,USA   (01.20.07)
This is another Richard Perle production of "Chalabi Part Deux:The Iran Connection". This poster boy for the American Enterprise Institute comes from the very same people that brought you the "Jews Must Wear Badges in Iran" article by Amir Tahiri that mysteriously tiptoed off into oblivion. They aren't satisfied with what they were able to vacuum up from the Iraqi coffers...now they want Iran too. There really are evil people out there who think nothing of sacrificing your children for the sake of riches.
25. Extreme Islam is about to be finished.
Micha   (01.20.07)
Yes, there will be a final fight. And yes, you best pack up and leave. Allah does not accept you as his/her/its own. You are a shanda, a disgrace.
26. and this guy is right, so you better listen.
Micha   (01.20.07)
He says that the "religious" folk will pack up. That's usually how it is. They're little cowards. How disgusting.
27. Comment re. Iran
madeleine7 ,   Spain   (01.20.07)
This reader`s comments are so ludicrous, they would be funny - if the whole situarion were not so dangerous and alarming. Truly, most of the "Free World" does not have a clue what is really going on. Let him go and live in Iran with its "wonderful democracy."
28. #3 Palestinian
Fussion ,   Israel   (01.20.07)
As much as I agree with Palestinian rights I have never seen a dumber bunch of people. Do you really think you are going to come anywhere close to national determination with the state of anarchy that exists within the Palestinian Authority, the continuous missile attacks and continuous attempts to send suicide bombers into Israel. You don't even have a country to be screwed up. Simply put you fight by the sword, you die by the sword. So get your house in order before you even think of mentioning Iran or Iraq.
29. Too bad this young man isn't Israel's PM
bob ,   potomac md   (01.21.07)
This young man undertands more about the situation in his brief talk than any of the current Israeli leadership. He should be prime minister. One does not have to be Jewish to be PM--nor President-- I have always known that a reginme change is what is needed in iran--and a friendly Iran ==even a friendly Iran with nukes--is not a danger to Israel or anyone else--except maybe another Saddam with Saddam-like ambitions.
30. Ayatollahs will cower..........
Johnson ,   USA   (01.21.07)
The Ayatollahs are good at perverting Islam by brainwashing children, and fanatics to fight and kill the inocent in some demented need of control. But, in the end when faced with the possibility of their own pathetic demise they will run like frightend animals, and we will find the hold up in a hole in the ground.
