Bye the way my best friend is in the navy and he is in the Straight of Hormuz right now and i got family in Iran and half of my family is bahi (israel is home to alot of bahi holy shrines) and so this is a very serious issue for me. If war happens its all bad for me in everyway possible so dont think that im some jagoff who is just talking to make a point this hits home very hard for me heck i just might visit iran in the summer for the first time so war would not be prefered thank you.

Perle is a complete idiot. With fools like him on the Western side along with idiot Israeli politicians, I hope Iran does acquire nuclear weapons for defence. Iran has threatened no one, despite the propoganda. Israel and the usa have threatened and attacked many countries and people. It is they who are the threat to peace, not Iran.

But I dont know about not having any power......he has accomplished building these nuclear plants. I see what you mean about the 200 year thing.....but to me it doesnt mean they wont attack..this guy is a real nut case.....i do not put it past him. I dont think anybody else should either. The whole sanctions thing.....yeah i do not agree. They havent worked so far.....they havent worked with n.korea and I really doubt they will in the future with these guys. Iran is seriously determined for this "power" they are after and if we dont do something...I think they will get it. Shock and awe at the beginning in iraq.......then we loosened up...bad idea. About the whole america always at war thing.....my only question to that is how many wars were fought becasue the U>S didnt like their religion...or because we wanted all people to be christians? How about because we wanted to start amaggedon? Yeah...i dont know about all that. I also dont think a million man army matters too much when you are being attacked by air..which is what will happen. What matters is their defense, technology and weapons( and training). As far as not being about to handle all the responsibilities......i dont know..you may be right..but I also know the U.S. is capable of a whole lot.....and a whole lot more than we are doing now in iraq.......we just arent right now..when we do.....i am not sure what that will look like. but the trip to iran might not be a good idea.
