sas ,   israel   (01.24.07)
he simply is not worth all the words we are wasting on this man. he is a rapist. he is dishonest. let's stop talking/reading and writing about him.
5. He should just resign and have his day in court like Ramon
David ,   Karmiel, Israel   (01.24.07)
He, more than any other infamous Israeli politician, and there are many, has brought disgrace on the highest office of the land. Indeed, he his innocent until proven guilty but his delaying tactics have damaged Israel's already tarnished image world wide. Fiddles and deals are the order of the day and will remain so until the people of this country demand change and stop being so apathetic. To Daniel from Tekoah, yes, the government did not honor their promises to you but it is time for you to realize that Israel is much bigger than Gush Katif so stop your whining and do something concrete about stopping the corruption and crime that are plaguing this land. Think of the words of the Late President Kennedy and ask "not what my country can do for me but what can I do for my country?" Believe you me there is plenty that an experienced pressure group like the Gush Katifnikim can do for this little land of ours. Te question is do you care about the country or just about yourselves? Just remember, the Jewish People can survive without Gush Katif and even other "occupied" or "liberated" areas, but the Jews of this world cannot survive without Israel. You know the answer and it’s your decision whether to look ahead or to bury your heads in the sand and live a life of hatred and resentment.
6. Manzuz has not filed an indictment yet
Steve ,   USA   (01.24.07)
B"H Manzuz has not filed an indictment yet. Yet the impeachment proceedings are underway and the Kenesset does not have evidence from Manzuz to prosecurte the President yet. It is acting on rumor. So much for this elected body at this time. Getting prepared for an indictment makes some sense if there is a reasonable chance that one may be issued. However, impeaching the President of Israel without any evidence of any crime committed does not seem reasonable to me. The President is waiting for the indictment to be filed while he is President. Then he has immunity from it, because the charge was leveled at him in his President role. He may be forced out of office only if there is substance to the charge. But if there is no substance and he is forced out anyway, he would be free with no criminal record whatsoever that I can see that that would be persuable with justice.
