Perhaps you can find friends at the UN, or France, or Iran, or Syria, or Pakistan, or Afaganistan, of anywhere else in the Middle East that will come to your aid. He may not be perfect, but right now he's the only friend Israel has.

Why sell weapons to Israel or any other country,if it is forbidden to use that weapon? Why did Israel accept the weapons,when they can not use it?

I totally agree with you. If you read what I said, you would see that I criticize our state dept. It is not Israeli friendly. The problem is that when we get new presidents, we do not get new regular employees at the state dept. We have people who have been in there for 25 years or more and are out to get their own shelfish partisan agenda through. Whether it be through bad advice to the president, leaks to the press, or worse yet, letting the enemy know what is going to happen before it does. A prime example of this is when Sandy Berger warned OBL that we were going to bomb a few clay houses in the area where we knew he was. However, that being said President Bush is still the only friend Israel has.

Is it any wonder why the U.S. is probably the only friend that Israel has left.........they continue to dance to their own drum beat when the whole world is disgusted with their policies towards the Palestinians.

Reagan came down on Israel for the same thing in '82. I guess his actions did not deter this from happening again. As Kissinger said, America does not have friends only interests. Soon, it will not be in America's interest to support Israel any longer based on US public and world opinion, unless Israel gets rid of its illegal settlements and draws permanent borders. Until then, G-D and the rest of the civilized world will not be sympathetic to Israel's aspirations.
