It was all about money. Now the world and even the EU wants sanctions at the 90th minute of the match, instead of nipping the problem in the bud many years ago with tough sanctions. Now they're concerned about other ideas... Lesson: Don't feed the monsters - they tend to get very big!!!

Russia should welcome a US attack on Iran that means that Iran will have to come running to Russia to supply them with equipment destroyed by the US. Iran is no match for the US send in some stealth aircraft smash the neuclear facilities maybe some of their naval assets making it impossible to try and block the straights of Hormuz or anything else that involves naval power. No ground troops but seriously weaken Irans millitary capabilties from the air quick and efficiant. In the end millitary action is the only solution. Russia is going to do everything it can politicly to avoid any Iranian interests being damaged if they agree to sanctions they will be laughble and only a token effort for image. As long as Russia continues to sell Iran neuclear facilities and weapons with the intent of making Iran the most powerfull millitary force in the region then diplomacy wont work. Iran also has Russia and Chinas security council vetos so any sanction proposals that might hurt will be vetoed.

this has been clear for a long time and I have never doubted for one moment that Bush would end his presidency with this issue hanging the air. Good that people like Bush and Blair have the courage to bring this to its needed conclusion. The campaign will obliterate the Iranian navy and 90 % of the Iranian military targets that are worth hitting including all nuke facilities that Israel did not get in the initial strike. There will be no ground invasion. There will not be a need for a ground invasion. 7) The muslim street will do something original. They will go out into the streets and riot. (Wow...We've never seen that before.) 8) Sunni Arab Nations like the Saudis will express their regret but will privately laud the action. I guess it has something to do with the rightful succession of the prophet Mohamed or their interpretation of it. You know...It's that Sunni - Shia thing! 9) Meanwhile the Israeli Arrow anti missile system will take care of 98% of the Shahabs that Iran will launch and the new advanced Patriot system in the hands of the Americans (and Israelis) will take care of the rest. 10) Israel responds even more aggressively against both Hizzballah and the Syrians since they will shoot rockets at Tel Aviv.
