Merkel criticizes Iran, Syria during Mideast trip     Associated Press
1. Islam is proven false with peace accord
Radical Islamists take the State of Israel as a direct threat on Islam and it's validity. If the Infidel is allowed to stand on land previosly conqered by Islam, this is unexceptable, and cannot be allowed to happen. These radicals do not want peace, and will never allow it to happen and will see to that with their lives in battle. No matter who they fight, there is no God, but the mighty Allah. No tolerance of any kind. In other words, Israel will always have to fight. The fighting started the first day it became a Country, and will continue for the rest of time. I feel very bad for Israel, and say a prayer. As long as Israel stands, Islam and it's Imperialistic Conqering ideology are proven weak, and more important, false. Charlie Baker

2. I wish her well....it would be nice if the EU had a ....
competent, forceful leader to help mediate in good faith.
Andy ,   ramat hasharon   (02.06.07)
3. # 1 you are correct
However,it is more difficult to explain what you wrote in your talkback to the apeasing left in the west, who are holding on to dear life to the words of so called "moderates"in the Islamic world. There are no moderates in their midst when it comes to Israel. (or the balkans or Spain for that matter).Anywhere where they pinned the name Uma in the past,it is their future and present duty to re-conquer. The ones in the west who " Get it",may have a chance to survive it fighting.but without a fight,we are all doomed. I dont know what everyone else is seeing in the German leader's picture....i see a lady in great need for another neck & shoulder rub courtesy of W. :-)

4. She has more testosterone than Olmert
malcolm   (02.06.07)
5. #2-sorry, Andy, but you are hoping for
something from the EU that is literally a contradiction in terms. Miss Merkel seems to be a leader of quality and conviction, but don't yearn for the impossible.
Cameron ,   north of mexico?   (02.06.07)
6. Hey Angela, criticizing is very good but not enough.
You should be taking positive action. Are you?
Uzi ,   Haifa   (02.06.07)
7. Merkel
I am a bit sorry about what I write, but we the jews in the entire world,we have to acknowledge thet nowdays there is not a more democratic country like Germany, and we haven't real friends in europe like the germans are. They help Israel effectively also with important tools to defend ourself with. Sorry but that is now the situation. A nitzule shoa,Andi mi ha kfar.
Bachrach Andres ,   Kfarsaba   (02.06.07)
8. @7, people change
and nowadays germans are well educated as well. Nevertheless they - just like any other country - also face still antisemitism and racism.
Suzanne   (02.06.07)
9. our kanzler..
kol ha kavod that you wrote that. i am german and i would understand if a nitzule shoah would not even look at us...after what germany did! but you are right. i know some of Merkel s advisors and she is really surronded by people that have a true heart to understand what is really going on in israel and she is not blind to the muslim threat (as many other europeans are). i thank god that we have such a Kanzler, my he give her the strength to withstand all the anti israeli opposition in the world and to bless israel!
julia ,   germany   (02.06.07)
10. ...window of opportunity...
here it is again. that elusive, ever-vanishing "window of opportunity".
dan kaplan ,   usa   (02.06.07)
11. #10-is that 'window' a mirage?
That window is always so fleeting & vague, I do wonder, at times, whether it's merely an illusion or just wishful thinking.
Cameron ,   USA   (02.06.07)
12. As Always..No window..and no naalaim
Its all a fleeting illusion created by the masters of half truths and pumped up lies...the arabs. There is no window for nothing, not even a crack in the walls of hatred.
