I personally detest the KKK and white supremacists groups but I understand some of the reasons for their renewed popularity these days. It’s not so much the debate over illegal immigration causing the popularity as it is that people don’t feel that our government is being responsive to our demands and needs. Polls have shown 70% of Americans want new tougher laws that will help stop illegal migration from Mexico and South America but our Congress and the president have turned a deaf ear. Americans are totally against amnesty of any type but both republicans and democrats are pushing for some type of work relief program. When people don’t feel they can achieve their goals through the proper channels they start turning to other more radical means like the KKK.
